I can honestly say that I have never seen someone put on a show which was so full of honesty, passion & pure love of the music and performing live. Truly an awesome force & this guy clearly believes in every word he says! Pure brilliance!

I first saw P.O.S. (some of the Doomtree crew was there, as well) in a similar context. To be honest, Hand Made Hand Gun, and then Four Fists where what first turned me on to you-- been delighting in you ever since. Most of my friends are always down to hear anything new (read: awesome, but not on the radio) that I recommend. I find it pretty easy to decipher one's tastes (or lack thereof) based on how they respond to Stef, Dessa, Sims, the rest of the Doomtree crew, and the entirely of the "we are an awesome modernization of rap/hip-hop" cohort, very much including you. I wish you got more radio play. You deserve it. Stay awesome.

Exactly the same thing here - just saw him last night in Brisbane Australia to a room of about 40 and he has more passion and fun on-stage than almost every other big act I've seen. Met him afterwards, and you can feel he's genuine, I tell everyone who'll listen they need to try his music - he needs to be selling out stadiums like Kendrick, Macklemore or Kanye.

Astro clarified at one point, I think, that Kurt in this song was a representation of power structures and the people that surrender to them or something like that. I think it really boils down to that line, "Kurt Cobain could break as many guitars as he wanted 'cuz he was rich as fuck" -- i.e. rich people do whatever they want while we work our asses off to maintain _their_ way of life. That's my interpretation, at least.
