Just transmit the genetic specifications of the super algae back to Earth. They'll be able to synthesize new algae.

That's where we are in the West, doom and gloom instead of looking forward to the future.

Hard to be forward thinking when there are those that would take us backward should they get power again.

With the current administration and the domestic/global disasters they have caused, it's hard to be positive about the future.
@epaminon61968 ай бұрын
@@opencarry3860 The future is a very long span of time. We've got millions of years left to improve upon current technology and make the best out of Earth and human civilization. Looking ahead some centuries, the world population will first peak around 10 to 12 billion people around 2100. Then, it will gradually decline due to falling fertility rates. The world population will decrease until it becomes sustainable again. By the time that happens, probably during the 23rd or 24th century, advanced geoengineering, Asteroid mining, fusion reactors, advanced energy cells, genetically optimized crops, artificial intelligence, cloning of extinct animal species and other technologies will reduce the damage we are dealing to the planet to a sustainable level. The clean-up may last centuries but by the year 3000, it is more likely than not that humanity, or its transhumanist successor species, will be looking towards a bright interstellar future with a clean mother planet.

Artificial gravity??
@davidponseigo88118 ай бұрын
As of this point and time artificial gravity does not exist. Spinning a spacecraft does not quite work just yet. Humans equilibrium just can't handle it yet but science is getting closer. Artificial Gravity in science fiction is absolutely nonsense.
@davidponseigo88118 ай бұрын
Science fiction has artificial gravity because it makes filming easier.
