Finding the gravity globe early on saved my game, using it as my early oxygenator

Tip: oxygen filters (just like power cells) can last for something like 10 minutes if you only use them to fill up, not to maintain oxygen. They produce too much and are wasted otherwise.

Yeah, unfortunately I noticed too late. The settings I recorded with were not great. I have that issue fixed in my later videos. I switched to 1440p 60fps

I really like the idea of this kind of start, but once you've got an oxygenator up and running what stops it from feeling like just another playthrough? Like, what else makes it hardcore?

There are really only two differences at that point. You are unable to progress with the missions since you don't get the starting shelter with the oxygenator (SES Hardcore Mode 1) so no mission rewards etc. Also you only have one life, so if you die the world turns into creative mode. There are rewards for beating the game on hardcore.

Yo hey you can just put the oxygenator on the base so that you can breathe without the shuttle
