Giants fan here. Been following the Astros since they were an NL team. Look out for these guys in October. They can beat any team in the league in a best of 7.

That’s the thing with the Astros they can be one of the worst teams going into the end of the season or even all the way going into the playoffs but all of a sudden they’ll turn it up and now you are fighting for every possible chance at a lead. 7 game win streak right now wondering how long they can keep it going so far Bregman Alvarez and Diaz been doing the real work hoping pena can get hot too and we’ll be unstoppable for a few series

No Verlander, Javier, Garcia, Urquidy, or McCullers…absolutely amazing that the Astros are even able to compete this year. 7 game win streak without Kyle Tucker and and a platoon covering 1st base. I’m starting to believe Joe Espada can get us to the promise land!
@mataloce2 ай бұрын
Espada is like Baker… terrible as a manager… when the Astros won in 2022 wasn’t because of baker but despite baker… I remember he almost blew a Verlander game by bringing Montero in the most stupid inning possible… I’m really worried about espada… he is used to make terrible calls in important moments… but this team has overcome so many difficulties that they even might overcome espada

Any ideas on how we can get an actual first baseman? These guys are great at covering but as this game showed with Diaz we actually need a dedicated first baseman.

@@norrisnix9651 that’s definitely part of it, with how mental baseball is, I’m sure it doesn’t help losing your spot on the team to someone else. It’s honestly a bit insulting when they play his little walkout song in the 8th inning… followed by the real closer 9th inning walkout charade
