10:40 can someone explain me this? I remember the extra ammo engineering for caustic sinks being a normal upgrade with 1 level, and even though it had only 1 level, I had to buy the upgrade 4 times or so before it would complete. I have 27 hardened surface fragments, so I'm wondering, is AGZR really a 1 time buy thing, and does it really only take 3 fragments + 1 caustic crystal to get AGZR or do I need to buy it 4 times. So it would then cost 12 HSF and 4 CC to complete 1 module?

I have a Python Mk II with AZone Shards, a Krait Mk II with Pre-Engineered AX MCs, and a Mandalay for reconnaissance (map the system and a surface scan of 10B). I don't have Discord. Guess I'll be in the AXI group and shoot at what everyone else is shooting at if I can find them. Might have to install a wake scanner. UPDATE: Well if there was a specific instance I didn't get in not having Discord to ask for it or via texting in-game. Still the Devs provided a nice Xeno Conflict Zone so 4 hours of fun with lots of players. My Shards helped a few players get richer. Maybe next time Mechan and I could instance then put 9 shards on a Hydra. Time to bring my ships home. Regards

@@Astyrrean Right, the wake scanner didn't work with low wakes. Just manually drop out at the wake point. Been awhile since I used one to follow a ship that high waked.

if you're new to ax combat use gimballed ax multicannons, they are very forgiving weapons and you can shoot from a distance.

Enhanced Anti-Xeno Missile Racks. I guess you also use the Enhanced Anti-Xeno Multi-Cannons, but the missile racks is what's been recommended.

This might be a stupid question but do I go to the "open play" menu for the event or the "private network" menu where I would pick the anti xeno initiative group and get into that server that looks similar to the open play menu? Sorry I'm new to all this

So I participated in AX combat first time in battle of Sol, so I am quite new. One thing I want to ask is that is Xeno Scanner not required for this and why? I don't see you having equipped one and the build I am following to choose weapons for my AX Krait does not have one either. Edit: from contextual clues I am getting that we plan to kill them too fast for healing and therefore killing hearts to be factor, is this the case?

Yeah scanner won’t do much for you here. Mostly just give you shield and interceptor variant information which you can get in other ways. Very optional.

I just learned about the whole event because youtube decided to drop this video into my recommendations. So while I won't participate, as I don't have the time to prepare, the part about the network settings piqued my interest. As much as I'd loathe to poke holes into my firewall, wouldn't that be in vain anyway if you're CG-NATted? How about IPv6?

IPv6 makes no difference - it's the UPnP that is essential. The way FDev have their netcode is like running an old school BNC network from FDev! ha ha

Router type is fine. That's irrelevant. Mine is port restricted too. If UPNP Enabled is OFF though, something didn't work. Did you follow the part of the guide that explains how to enable network discovery on private networks in Windows?

I fixed it myself, i had to enable self port forwarding for my device in the router. Of course i will deactivate it again and only route the used port.

As mentioned go buy some AX cannon/missile racks and you are good. As long as you get the hits in you get credits. Plus AX multi cannons can kill scouts quickly

I suspect those people will be quickly banned from their respective groups. The rules are very clear about PVPers and gankers in AXI PGs

This isn't a matter of hiding or not hiding. Open cannot be geo-sharded. We NEED to use private groups to separate people by region. No single instance can hold the 1,500 people who have registered - individual PCs cannot handle that volume of P2P connections either. So we HAVE to use private groups, further lined up by geographic location to minimize lag.
