thats tradition. they do it for the old heads like me man. the percussion skill level is far greater than this cadence. just like the kappas still do old stuff (old chants). Its just respect.

Dude....Roots was NOT created at ASU. It's a Morris Brown orginal that was brought to ASU. Now how BCC got it is beyond me.

I can name 3 college percussion sections that play that cadence. I'm a fan of TTB but this ain't one of your best cadences. It's too old school and you really should scrap it. But don't feel too bad...BCC don't play it any better. Just let the high schools have this one fellas.
