Crow had to be forced by the ABOR to get his act together and stop fighting the move. The Big XII wanted AZ, they took ASU because of Robbins.

It's true unfortunately. Every podcast and major sports network said the same thing. Crow was still loyal to Larry Scott and the dead Pac 12 conference.

That was what I heard on several podcasts. Crow was against it all week, then agreed on Wednesday, then did a 180 on Thursday, which pissed off everyone in the meeting. Only reason he agreed on Friday to the move to Big 12 was because Oregon and Washington defected to Big Ten, and he had no other options.

Anderson and Crow don't want to be held accountable for not playing up the level of our new conference, and thus more likely to lose their jobs if they do not perform. they are FINE with mediocrity and being 3rd place in a DEAD conference and games that are never televised when most of the ASU fanbase can watch the team. I for one am GLAD that this move was made and these people will be exposed for who and what they are! Anderson will be the first to go! then Crow himself if he doesn't right the ship, bravo Oregon and Washington for making the move ending any Grant of Rights talk that Crow was leading. As an ASU alum that was gut wrenching to hear, I am glad the wheels are turning and we can finally see ASU become a great program.

The Big 12 should add MTSU. Middle Tennessee State University is right smack in the middle of eastern USA and middle Tennessee. Imagine knowing you’re just a few hours away from half the states.
