I just learned that a Tori Gate is a traditional Japanese gate most commonly found at the entrance of or within a Shinto shrine. Thanks for your beautiful work! From Canada

It's found in both shinto shrines and buddhist temples but originally from buddhism from what i've learned

I love watching a master of their craft at work on projects like this where every step is thought-out and deliberate. Like watching Bob Ross paint, I find so much interest in seeing how these seemingly random and unrelated parts of the process add up to a finished whole. I gain a new appreciation for art like this once I know all the work and planning that went into it.
