コメント欄に殆ど日本語が無いのにビックリ。 それだけ、この素晴らしい工芸品が、外国の方の目に留まるって事なんでしょうね。日本人として非常に誇らしく思います。 最後の師匠の言葉、意味深い。自分の妨害になるって事は、弟子の力量を認めてることの裏返しよね。すぐには誉めないところがいかにも職人という感じがします。でも最後の最後には褒めてましたが笑 何だか心があったかくなる動画でした。

I'm forever fascinated by, not only Japanese ingenuity and artistry overall, but the fact that they create their own extremely specialized tools in the pursuit of that amazing artistry. Amazing. The material preparation is harder than the finish product. The Japanese have a incredible sense of culture, discipline, and pride in there work. This is why they are a great society and we can learn a lot from them. Not sure why 597 people were watching...they probably thought this was a cell phone installation video.
