Are you still fluent in German? When and how did you learn German as Asuka in Neon Genesis Evangelion?

I studied German in high school and college, and I took to it very well. I was conversationally fluent in German at the time, but I haven’t had many opportunities to use it in the last 20 years, so I’m not as fluent as I once was. I was very excited for the opportunity to use that skill when playing Asuka!

Before I forget, I really would love to find that ADV dub of 'Gurren Lagann.' Did you enjoy voicing Yoko Littner for as long as you did? Edit: Found, downloaded, and am enjoying the ADV dub of GL!

Yuko Miyamura was famous right Tiffany? She was famous voice actress as Asuka! I love her voice Tiffany! Yuko was famous!

Yes, Miyamura-san is very well known worldwide for her role as Asuka, as well as Chun Li in Streetfighter. She was also in Wedding Peach and has an ongoing role in Detective Conan. She’s a legend!

Good point! Yes, Miyamura has an extensive resume, and I wasn’t trying to list the whole thing, but you are right to point out Berserk. Another classic show!

Hello! I am probably going to do a new Asuka video, though it’s not nearly my whole collection. I don’t have my entire collection on display now. A lot of it is packed away. I was just in Sarasota two weeks ago! I will definitely return to Florida though. Excuse me if this is a common sense question, but what's the longest video length you can do for Cameo?

I honestly have no idea. Mine are usually about 30 seconds. If people book through the site, Cameo takes a 30% cut. If they book on the app, I get less than 50% of the fee. So I can’t spend a lot of time on elaborate videos, if that makes sense. 🙂

Hello Tiffany I’m a big fan of yours and I run an Eva account on instagram but my mom found it and she hates anime this I’m getting a lot of backlash for it. She hates anime and Eva but I love it of course and I don’t know what to do or say to make things better

I’m so sorry to hear about the frustration you’re experiencing. I’m honored that you reached out to me, and I’m not sure if I have the advice to fix this issue. I know a lot of parents who aren’t familiar with particular shows can sometimes have a negative view of anime in general, and I can certainly understand that. There are definitely some titles that aren’t age appropriate for younger viewers. I don’t know how old you are, but I think Eva is okay for ages 14+. There are some pretty heavy themes in Evangelion, as I’m sure you know. If it’s possible to have your mom watch Eva with you, maybe that would help. Also, I would suggest having a conversation about which specific things you like about Eva (or any other show), and perhaps that will resonate with her. I hope you can come to some sort of understanding, and I hope this conflict is resolved in a way that you both feel better. 🙏
