The Rivalry is so bad and it always seems completely favored toward Lili even when Asuka wins Lili is buying her house or some other crap they never really show her in a bad light. Asuka deserves better or at least make her rivalry more interesting.

As a Lili main and someone who also enjoys playing Asuka I think the Asuka x Lili rivalry has been the worse thing to happen to both characters. It was kind of charming in T6 since it was the start of the whole rivalry but by T7 it was so old. I think us Lili mains got lucky with T8 because Lili kind of got a redemption arc with the main story mode and her character episode not having Asuka in it (finally) and unfortunately Asuka got the short end of the stick. I was hoping they'd explore her rivalry with Feng more or even her Kazama healing powers. I'm thrilled as a Lili main in T8 but I definitely feel for the Asuka mains.

Characters who are connected would get a chance to interact in some way, giving them some form of character development.
