Yeah, B550 mobos run cooler than X570 on most cases, that's why B550 doesn't have chipset fans.

Im confused. This B550 tuf plus has pcie 4.0 that you can only benefit of if you buy an pcie 4.0 m.2 ssd ( only 1 slot ) or a GPU that supports pcie 4.0 ? Only 2 devices at a time though? What does that mean, what other components are there that have pcie 4.0 anyway? Im just trying to understand.

The B550 lanes that are connected to the CPU (the PCI 4.0 ones) are 20 in total: 16 for the GPU and 4 for the NVMe, so you can connect both without a problem.

Yes...you can use the G CPU's but keep in mind that you do lose a little using them over the X CPU's. Best to use an external GPU and not use the G CPU unless you want to save some $$$ in which case no external GPU and just use the G CPU and take the little bit of a hit on performance yet be able to use the back I/O display and HDMI ports.

B550M Tuf plus and B550 tuf plus is same right? I was waiting for the Msi B550 Tomahawk but it didn't come out. Also Tuf plus is cheaper than Tomahawk. What do you think?

No they are not the same. The M stands for microATX. It is a smaller motherboard and cheaper as well. You get less options for pcie slots and the IO may be different (didn't check).

I just purchased a Strix 550 F as I've seen a couple or reviews stating the VRM's on the Tuf get a bit too hot....?

Considering that both mobos sahre the same VRM, the choice comes down to features and compatibility: TUF 570 has a bigger compatiblity so it can use almost every Ryzen processor you throw at it, it's cheaper and it has 2 PIC 4.0 ports in case you need more than one. B550-F has more connectors (like the Thunderbold header and the Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet), runs cooler and quieter. The only exception regarding connections is the fact that the TUF X570 has more SATA ports. Given this explanation the TUF would logically be better for most of the people, but I value low noise-levels a lot so the B550-F is my choice.

This is an exception to the B550 launch: Unlike all the other brands, and the rest of Asus tiers, the Asus TUF came out 5 dollars more expensive than the X570 version for some reason. Asus didn't explain why.
