hi sir please i have a question my laptop charger part of its cable get really hot so the laptop keep disconecting if i cut the damaged part and solder it will be fixed and if it yes the output power of the charger will not change.thank you

Yes, cut the damage part and then connect it, though you don’t need to solder it, the power is still the same. Try to test it if it works.It’s nice if you have a tester to check the voltage if it is the same. Thank you
