I did this very upgrade to my Asus Q530 today. It went fairly seamless. I was unable to unhook the battery, sooooo.....I had to be very careful. I installed a 2TB Samsung NVME and the 32GB of RAM. I installed Ubuntu on the drive and all works except for the fingerprint reader.

There are 2. 2:22 you can see the second NVME slot above the QR code of the battery. It is under the silver metal thing

@@nprstechandvlogs8793 The Manual don't show anything about the hardware not like with the ASUS Motherboard you see where all add hardware goes this is my third Asus Laptop no issues with the other two Laptop until this Q530 I was surprised that I couldn't see ram, or Mve 2 ssd installed on this board only 500 GB installed Will be replace by a 1TB M2 talked to an agent at ASUS they won't tell me where are the hardware located on the board it's a warranty issue I wonder if the next gen hardware will be solder to the board like the RAM if the RAM solder as issues cross fingers bye bye the board Welcome buying a new Laptop. I still not seeing where is the 2nd m2 connector located to the Yellow sticker I guess I'll have to remove all covers to be able to see it.

Hi thanks for the message this model comes with 8GB non-removable , and as per the crucial site Maximum memory:40GB RAM .
