Man you just saved me about half a day's work and incalculable damage to my Eee PC. Excellent presentation. I got it right off and just popped the thing apart without breaking anything. Thanks loads.

I have been using my T91 as a Ventrilo server for ages. I set it up and threw it in a corner and forgot about it, so being plugged in 24/7 the battery naturally went bad and started to bloat inside the machine, distorting the plastics pretty badly. For the life of me I couldn't figure out to get at the battery so I could remove it, until I found your video. I can't thank you enough for posting this video! It was exactly what I needed! =)

You're very welcome. I go online anytime I have an issue with a computer and people have helped me out time and time again. I just wanted to pay it forward. Thanks for your comment.

Many thanks from me too. I had the same problem with a dead battery bloating, and managed to successfully replace it using your guide.

What did you do to release the keyboard? I found the metal things at the top of the KB but what do I have to do with them? Thanks

Make sure you take all 10 screws out on the bottom. Take a small flat head screwdriver to pry the keyboard out on the top of the keyboard.
