I'm watching this video from the same laptop. Instead of an optical drive, my brother installed a hard drive as well as a solid-state drive for the system and programs. Changed the Wi-Fi module. Yesterday I changed the matrix. Time is trying to destroy him, but after 9 years of work, he still holds on and can even solve very serious problems. Great laptop, legendary!

Hello a neighbor tossed out the same (N550JV I believe) laptop, similar to this one. Just below the battery are the speakers, with one connector in the corner. Is there a 2nd connect or? The laptop I got a hold of is not complete, and am considering a rebuild. Thank you

Any idea what size those back cover screws are? I know they use a T5 screwdriver to remove them.

Great video! Have a partial N550JV. Once you got the dual fan & heat pipes removed, can you remove the fans for cleaning? Thanks for pointing out what ribbon cable go to what!

Hey Fix Studio have this laptop, dropped it and now screen won't turn on computer seems to boot, tried a monitor but nothing pulled the back off and checked for loose connections. Not that I know what I'm looking for any advice, but everything seems connected properly have NOT taken the whole thing apart though for fear of not being able to put it back together

So my coworkers husband asked me if I could figure out what is wrong with his laptop. It's this model. And thanks to your video I can show him what it's suppose to look like because his entire fucking cpu is gone. Not broken, not out of place. GONE. Including the chips around it and the cooling system.

Probably yes. PoE in 1080p works fine with i7/gt750
