Ill get mine delivered this week . So weird the placement is the other way around. I didn't like all the other generic cases anyway . I wanna keep it rog themed with the case from them .

My Galaxy S23 Ultra didn't came with a case, paid atleast $1100 when I got it last year. 😅

I absolutely LOVE mine because It allows me to leave the ally mate and m.2 hub attached to the back of the Ally AND IT FITS!! I use a compact 100w type c wall outlet and it all fits in the case. So cool. Definitely a WIN from ASUS. I did have to cut off the flap though so, there was that but, I don't care. It was dead weight anyway.

The SD card holding slot Velcros to the little tab on the other side. I believe that’s how the stand function works.

one major concern of mine is the squeeze factor, but does the thumbsticks click ifpressurtre is applied to the case?

If you have case on ally you can throw away the velcro thingys away right?

Honestly it is to bulky for my taste and it won’t define the meaning of portability. I think the Asus soft case is a better option for traveling and can fit the X as well.

does the triggers and back button keep getting pressed? or easily getting pressed from outside

I stress tested this out and tried to out my ear up to it, but i don’t believe so.

Do you think using a thumbgrip will make the joystick pressed down when the case is closed?

take your overhead camera and back it up and tilt it away towards the top of your desk. I felt like I was falling forward watching the video. good video though, thanks for the info

oh nice.. i didnt knew the came with hard case also.. i have the soft one but i use tomtoc bag now....i will sure get this one too

The ROG case is always upside down for some reason 😅🤷🏽‍♂ ps the OG Ally cases fit the X as well

That thing is so big and thick it would be better to just carry a gaming laptop

I bought a gaming laptop last year that obviously had much better specs than this, but I returned it because it was too much of a pain to carry around/play on the go. This device, while not nearly as powerful, is the perfect hybrid for me.

Big thing that made me go a gaming handheld over a laptop is that i already carry a laptop for working away

Can you share a link? I only see the ROG Ally case on Asus’ site, but I don’t see on specifically for the Ally X

That's because it's not specifically for the X, as you can see on the box. It's the original Ally case.

@ I have the killswitch case and it fits in here, so I assume other tpu covers will fit as well.

@@amai8094 i don’t have one to test with, but it is presumed it should fit, as I believe both the original ally and ally x are similar in width and height.
