I have the Z13 2022 model - quality control was really bad. Keybroke broke after a year, screen looked as it was not "glued" properly and was wobbly, the button for moving the hinge broke after less than an year... Hopefully this one is better

I had the 2022 Z13 for a bit. Great gaming tablet but the battery life wasn't the greatest for when I needed it to be a regular tablet. The video memory was also a bit low for the price. Hoping this one with the newer internals can correct some of those issues

@@KaelinTate Not having a separate piece of silicon should enhance battery life quite a bit. Ryzen MCM architecture doesn't get the best idle power efficiency, but its far better than having a CPU and dGPU. Its likely how they fit the bigger battery in, motherboard is a lot simpler.

I have the previous model with the 4050. I limit charge to 60% for the battery health. Unfortunately, my battery health is at 85% capacity. So when I disconnect 60% lasts me about 3-3.5hours on eco mode with the screen at 60hz and 4.5-5 hours at 100%. Keep in mind this is for light workload and browsing. If you do anything that requires more power draw you will get drastically less battery. With our a dgpu and a larger 70w battery I'm hoping this thing could go at least 7-8 hours without a charge. Tldr: previous model battery sucks.

I had the 2022 model, with the 30 series GPU, & at best it may last you 5 hrs on light tasks. If all I was using it for was gaming it wouldn't have bothered me, as I only ever game at home, but I wanted to use it as an 'everything' device, so the battery life just wasn't good enough. I'm hoping this AMD model will be an improvement, but then I had high hopes last year when the AMD powered Minisforum V3 tablet was released, but it had pretty mediocre batter life (which was a big surprise, as i've used AMD U-series powered laptops in the past & they had excellent battery life, 16-17 hrs on a charge, so the V3 lasting only 6 hrs was disappointing).

I have the original. It plays all my games. What I love about tablets is that you can remove the keyboard and eat infront of it like a monitor unlike a laptop where you have to push it back pretty far. Also bought a stand off Aliexpress to lift it up a bit so its more like a monitor. The stand needs to be thick though. The most minimalist computer you can have 😁

hopefully this is somewhat affordable. If I find one at like 1200 or less whenever it's on sale in the future I would like to pick one up. I feel like the design itself makes it look like it's going to be hella expensive lol. You would hope that the aspect of making it all in the same chip would make it cheaper than a dedicated graphics card but that's not always the case, we'll just see.

I just found a previous gen model on fb marketplace for 500 bucks. If I were you, I would get a used model and let someone else pay that price for the new one. Unless you play the newest most demanding games out this year, you will have all the power you need plus some. The previous gen still looks the part as well with an rgb lit passthrough glass and everything!

This would be the perfect tablet for SteamOS 3, if not Bazzite or ChimeraOS! It's all AMD hardware! Of course, I i worry about any esoteric custom hardware that won't be recognized by the kernel. Mainly power, fan, and RGB management.

This product requires detailed testing. The processor on it is very powerful, and the internal graphics unit comes with a 40 cu unit. Roughly, this should be equivalent to the RX 7600 in terms of processing power. However, it was tested in 2 simple games, so it is insufficient. The 200 watt adapter it comes with is incompatible with the tablet concept. After all, a tablet is a portable device compared to a notebook, but we wouldn't want to carry around a huge 200-watt adapter with us.

@Knoah321 @NinjaKirikoJEdi If it is compatible with a 100 watt gan type charger, why doesn't it come in the box? Its own charger is quite large and the charging port is not type-C. If it supports charging from the type-c port, will it provide full performance on both the processor and the internal graphics unit? Most of today's gaming notebooks are now charged via Type-C, but when you want to use them, their performance drops considerably and they require their own chargers.

On the older ones it is only a usbc port. It is also possible that this is just a test model, and or is in a different country. But if they did in fact make the change I am sure it was for a good reason

The 200w power supply is crazy! Why they don't put z1extream on these 13 tablets? it's only use consumption is just below 65w. I have Lenovo 2 in 1 It's an awesome device except it can't run heavy games.

@@cristiangomez4537 For myself, I literally just bought one of these. Still have my gaming laptop and a PC lol. I got this because there is no denying it is absolutely stunning and interesting to look at, especially with the passthrough glass on the back with the rgb lights. Also, it is so light and portable. My laptop has a heavy, long two piece charger that is a hassle to pack and the laptop itself is thick and bulky at best. All of that goes away with the flow, and on top of that the keyboard can be removed! Need to type a work doc? Slap that bad boy on there. Wanna play a game on a plane but only have a tray made for a small child that's screwed onto the back of a seat holding a 300 pound millennial? Take it off and connect your xbox or ps controller with some headphones. But even without the keyboard, you don't lose any windows features. It still functions like a computer without the keyboard, and that is the cool part

The surfaces on this laptop are a huge upgrade too! The keyboard has an alcantera wrist rest with the same finish on the back so that when closed and covering the screen, it is soft to the touch and looks luxurious. The tablet itself is pretty much all metal so it doesnt feel like a budget asus product

Considering that it doesn't have a graphics card, it seems VERY expensive (2500 USD!!!)... we'll have to see how the AI 395 performs in games, and whether it outperforms the Z13 with the 4060 or 4050, which is 900 USD cheaper, which is a lot of money. Also, it doesn't have a Thunderbolt 5 port to take advantage of the new Rog XG Mobile with the 5090 or 5070 TI

I love this concept, but I would prefer a 16 inch screen. For something that needs to be sitting down on the table 13 inches is way too small.

It is a great size for chillin on a normal size persons lap, and it is more sturdy than you think. I use it in bed every evening to watch movies and stuff. The 13 inch makes it easier to move around to different surfaces but a bigger screen would be awesome

This device runs on windows 11. It works the same as a desktop computer or a laptop. It is not meant to do ipad things, it is meant to be an on the go gaming pc both in looks and performance

I mean, I wanted something more portable than a laptop but I didnt want to give up the keyboard feel or the rgb backlighting. The keyboard that comes with this device actually is pretty darn good too. But the fact that it clips onto the tablet and works like a normal laptop is nice instead of having to keep track of two devices. I couldnt imagine having a magic keyboard and an ipad with one of those flimsy cases that fold into a stand sitting in my lap comfortably..

@evelez1135 the thing is I am programmer who enjoys doing light coding in the park, even though I am tall I don't find table eveytime and can't type comfortably when the keyboard is touching my stomach and this tablet setup has same issue, I usually keep laptop on edge to my knee so as it's easy. Same is issue with iPad pro it gets top heavy and wants to topple

the 2022's keyboard is not reliable mine did not last 6 months and i have changed keyboard 2 times , they just work for few months and decide to work only when layed flat and after few weeks they are completly unresponsive. it was very fustrating i went to forums and realise that all z13 owners had this issue. finally i paid 200$ for a new on on aliexpress and i did it twice last year. im selling my z13 because of this. hope asus fixed this issue with this new model for those who dare ...

Your battery might not last as long as you are hoping if thats what you are wanting to use it for, specifically when playing helldivers. However if you can keep it plugged up or incrementally charge it you wont have any problems performance wise
