ASUS ROG G752 VT Unboxing and short review

This is the new ASUS ROG G752VT -T7013T Gaming laptop. AraLugh and I will unbox this beauty of a machine and show you some of its features.
I7-6700hq 2.6 - 3.5 mhz
Nvidia GTX 970m 3 GB
1 TB + 256 GB SSD M.2 (with an extra M.2 slot)
8 GB DDR4 RAM (added another 8 GB)
USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 (USB-C)
At the end I have added some gameplay from Far Cry 4 and also did a short benchmark test using Furmark.
The Furmark GPU benchmark result was 2600 points using 1920x1080.

Why did you chose ausus over alien ware 17 I am getting ready to pruchase a new gamimg labtop and i am not sure I run a asus gaming labtop now thats just shy of what I want for performance running a nvidia 740m card with 16gb and itb 17 I would love your advice as I am stering towards alien ware as my goal is to have a home based computer and something i can travel with as I am never home. thank you for your help good video.

Hello and thank you for your comment. The main reason was a great offer I came over during Christmas time. Also, I had read a lot of reviews in advance. I was especially concerned with noise and heat since I use it on my lap. I read that ASUS is quite in the lead when it comes to these factors. Alienware are also great machines. It all comes down to personal preferances. Good luck with your choice :)

+Tony Severe I am gonna pick this one over the Alienware because it´s ware more silent and the temperatures outside (chasis) aswell as the components are better on the Asus cheers mate :)

You will have a lot of cooling issues with the Alienware. It gets extremely hot, with the Asus, it gets warm but not hot.

+Jenna Hopkins I can confirm what you say about the ASUS. I use it on my lap. It gets warm, but it's not uncomfortable. I haven't tried the Alienware though..

+MerulaFilms Try to stay away from Alienware. Yes, it's nice on the outside, but you will run into a lot of problems with the software.

Asus has a bad reputation of half there machines being defected in someway. Especially this model so if anyone is thinking of buying this be careful

Hello. Does the G751JY come with a GTX 970M or 980M? The 980 is of course a better card. However, the G752 comes with the latest technology: DDR4 RAM, USB-C, Skylake CPU and NVMe M.2 SSD drive with room for an extra M.2 SSD. Both machines are excellent, though. You can't go wrong with either of them. Good luck with your choice!

+MerulaFilms the g751 jy has the gtx 980m on it.. so what do you think is better all around spec on both specially on gaming i'm still confused what to buy :(

Oh, that is a tough one. Both computers are excellent gaming machines. The G751 takes the lead with the graphics card, though. But on the other hand, the G752 is built for the future. If it is only for gaming, I would consider the 980 card. If you think you are going to need USB-C and fast, additional harddrives, the G752 is the better choice.

+ernanv24 I choose the G752 because of a special Christmas offer at the store. The G751 with 980M would be a lot more expensive. It is of course also a question about price. I can't wait to try the upcoming game Far Cry Primal on ultra settings on this computer. Will probably make a test video of it.
