The only thing I would add is clean the slider pins while the carrier is off.😊

Importaint to know, when changing hammer you might need to change sear aswell, or adjust the old sear or the safety wont work. You also risk having a hammer that is not safe - pushing it might cause it to drop and fire.

I have an older first generation GP100 from the '80's. There is a solid cylinder-shaped guide pin that goes into the hole at the bottom of the grip frame. It keeps the two-piece grips aligned and snug together. I don't see it in yours.

The new GP100s have that part as well. I just bought one.

I would also like to add that the small connector for the lock and license plate light, behind the chrome strip, can corrode and lose contact, so the bulbs do not light or the trunk does not always open. That was my problem.

I tried to do this on my car but some muppet had mangled the carrier bolts so i couldnt undo them even with the proper socket, my discs weren't too bad anyway so i just changed the pads, if i do decide to change the discs ill just ask a garage to change the bolts for me !!!

Merulafilms, I am going to replace the trigger in my SP01 with an Armory Craft flat face trigger. So just to be clear, I don't have to do anything else to my weapon except the trigger change like in your video. Thanks and great video, clear and concise. Be well.
@merulafilms78632 жыл бұрын
Hi Curtis. It depends if you are converting it to single action only or not. If you are planning to make it SAO, you need to replace the hammer and remove the disconnector. Watch my hammer replacement video. If you are just replacing a double action trigger, you don't need to do anything else. I hope this made things clearer.

@merulafilms78632 жыл бұрын
Hi. Please watch my video about changing the hammer. You have to remove the disconnector to make it SAO. The SA trigger is there to minimize the takeup after you have removed the disconnector. Good luck!

Thanks for your time and effort with this video to show us how to install the ghost trigger. Which mine has a tab, I had to shorten! The take down was the same!
