you can see in some games the gpu goes above 115W it was reported that the 3060 on this g15 can't reach 140w with dynamic boost and is stuck at 115w but I guess not all units are the same...I'm buying the same laptop next week the one with 300hz the exact same one here

I only tried 2 games so far AC origins it reached over 125w on turbo and battlefield 1 the gpu power was over 130w cpu temp was reaching 85-88 degrees and it was running hot at first then I realized on performance mode the fans don't run on max speed unless the cpu temp is 90 and above on turbo mode the however fans run at max and cpu temp is around 75-80 degrees at least for the first 2hrs but then it starts to reach 85 also the laptop will be loud becuz of the fans but with headphones it's not bad

Is a laptop my man, thats normal temperature due to the small space in it. It can stand up to 100°C with ni problem at all. I have mine for 2 years now and ni problems, like if it was still new

Were you running csgo in the default spec (auto detected) i have a nitro 5 with the same specs but my fps is all over the place other games run fine (diablo 4 max settings 140+ fps all the time

I have the same laptop connected to a monitor 165hz but the fps i get on fortnitw are 60 in turbo mode and around 150-170 fps in valorant. my monitor is connected to dedicated gpu still fps are very low.Can somebody help me?

hi man, the asus g15 strix with 3060/6800h 2k 165hz is going for around 1300$ in my country, legion 5 with 3060/11400h is going for around the same price, the new strix g16 with 4060 isnt available in my country yet.. im gonna be using the laptop for studying and gaming, im a little worried about thermals, which one you recommend please

Always Legion 5 :). The problem with the Pro will be that you will be running at higher resolution, but the cooling system and power management is better on the Legion 5.

Yo this one or legion 2021(r7 5800h and 3060) Diff are legion has 512 SSD and Rog has 1Tb and obv legion is 2 yr old and Rog just 6 months(like the model age) and yeah rog is rupees 5K expensive than legion.

I think despite being old the legion will still have good performance , even compared to a newer processor generation. Go for Legion, cheper, better cooled, better looking :)

We tested it nearly at launch, and in GTA V the TDP was reaching 130W. The card has 115W tgp+ 25W dynamic. You can see in this video in the GTA V bit.

If gpu performance is really important to you or you want to play modern AAA games with higher settings then pick the msi with rtx 3070, it should give you better performances. I don't know where u got those prices but looking at the specs, the rtx 3060 G15 should have a significant lower price than a GP66 with rtx 3070 (u might wanna check the price again). Try to see if there's a G15 with rtx 3070 available around that price. Personally i would choose the G15 because of its beautiful and eye-catching design.

I would say G15. In theory the Strix has better cooling system, but both o the laptops suffer for inadequate cooling system. You will still see 80+ temperatures. So if they are simillarly priced get the G15, since you will have better performance.

Am kinda sad cuz my ryzen 7 4800h with gtx 1650 is less powerful combo but its like 30fps difference in almost every game And in terms like warzone I run it at 70fps high and here is 110fps and with that screen hz its not really that good Like the laptop but it would be 0 upgrade from my point 😢😢
