ASUS RTX 4070 DUAL OC Review

Good looking card with 'normal' rtx 4070 price in these abnormal GPU pricing times we live in. Good cooler, all in all if I hadn't already 4070ti I would buy this model for sure.

The 4070 Dual I bought in Korea was about $536 and the cheap 4070ti was about $782. There is a price difference for each country sold, so I think it would be better to buy it considering the price advantage.

I’ve been running bg3 max settings and this thing doesn’t even go over 60C Amazing cooling on this card, don’t even have a custom fan curve in just letting it do its thing.

Great review! I have three questions you might be able to answer. At what rpm do the fans reliably start spinning when you set the fan speed manually? At what rpm do the default fan curves (performance and quiet bios) start when the card switches from passive to active cooling? Did you detect any noticeable coil whine? If yes, under which conditions?

1. If you set it to about 30 to 40%, it works very quietly. 2. Start at 30% (approximately 900-1000 rpm) just like the performance mode. 3. In the case of the 4070 model we've covered so far, we've never covered a model with a lot of factory overclocking, so we've never heard of coil wine.

@@DalraeMyo Thanks for the quick reply! Concerning question 1: I'd like to know the lowest possible rpm the fans can achieve. My current graphics card starts at around 600 rpm by default but can go as low as 525 rpm (if set manually) before the fans completely stop spinning. How low can the ASUS card go?

The minimum user configurable RPM using the MSI Afterburner program was 30% (900-1000 RPM). The cooling fan stopped rotating when RPM was set lower than this.@@Schweinehirte

between rtx 3060 ti and rtx 3060 12 gb which should be better option for 3d related work and bit of gaming too bro?

If the VRAM requirements are high, 3060 12GB would be a good choice, otherwise 3060ti would be a better choice. If not for 3D operations that require large amounts of video memory, the 3060ti model shows a faster rendering speed or viewport speed than the 3060 model.

I don't do 3D work, so it's hard to give clear advice on the requirements for work. However, I think the combination of i5-13600K and 3060ti is one of the most popular combinations. @@srijitsarkar7168

I think the quality of the partial finish is higher. I think it will be similar if you don't pay much attention to the appearance of the graphic card.

I think so. The AM5 Socket is the first generation of the 7000 series, and if you plan to upgrade your CPU in the future, I think it's better than choosing the AM4 Socket CPU.@@All_Knowing_Truth
