i recently bought this laptop, best 1150$ ive ever spent. i have a rtx 3060 and the 4 core processor and i run games perfectly fine. the pre-installed software is great too. When i first saw it only had one color i was upset but now i have fallen in love with it lol. I would highly recommend this as a first gaming laptop for most of your uses.

As a geologist (a profession which requires me to travel often) and a gamer, I love this. I have had mine for more than a year already, and it's the best of both worlds for me in terms of gaming prowess and portability. I have owned a bulky Predator Helios (RTX3070) and a very thin Razer Blade Stealth 13 (GTX1650) in the past, but they never gave me the satisfaction that my current laptop has provided. The Asus Tuf Dash F15 is thin and light but well built, it plays the games I want really well (Shadow of the Tomb Raider at highest setting getting 60-70 FPS), and the battery life is just soooo gooooooood ❤️. The best part, I got mine at an Open-Box Price (a third of the price for which I got my Razer Blade Stealth, and half the price of the Predator Helios). Best purchase ever, and I don't see myself letting it go for any other laptop soon. 😁

Thank you! I have been going back and forth between this and the Ryzen 4000 GTX1650Ti Zephyrus G14. Both of these are sold around the same price here in Malaysia. Looking at the thermals, build quality, slightly heavier chassis, great battery life and good enough performance (compared with 1650Ti) this seemed like the best option for me!

It will run it fine but if you're looking for color accuracy, you will definitely need a separate monitor that has better color accuracy. The display on the f15 is just not good in terms of color reproduction

I like this laptop a lot, but I have to go for MSI GF63 only, and only because of the lack of the webcam. I had an accident where I have 6 points of herniated disc on my vertebrae so I can only work/game lying down for extended period of time. External webcams today all have this weird hanging clip thing and it's not secure at all. Anyway, thank goodness that the GF63 is cheaper than the Tuf Dash, but not so sure with MSI reliability though.

go for rog since 10750h has 6 cores so you wouldn’t have a problem of bottlenecks while 11370h only has 4 cores which is a quad core so much bottleneck performance and rtx 2070 is still an excellent gpu.

I just got the 3070 version with 16GB RAM and it cost around 2000$ Canadian Dollars, loving my new laptop so far, it runs every game i throw at it so far at max. You can control the fans and there is a silent mode you can run if the apps or games you run are not too demanding its great. I was scared about th 4 cores but so far, its running my video editing software perfectly.

Personally i would go with thr predator. Ive seen super high refresh rates and at 300hz it will look really awesome especially if youre a gamer. Performance wise it can still keep up with most, if not all games, at 1080p resolution.

Mine is the ASUS TUF DASH F15 i5 10th Gen with web cam and backlight keyboard with AURA sync. I have upgarded it from 8GB ram to 16GB ram but it still throttles on that and when playing the VR game Second Life, this laptop is not the best. I'm thinking of upgading to 24GB ram and also add another 1TB SSD but you are so right. What is the point of soldering one ram stick to the mother board? That is just bloody stupid. I bought mine brand new back last October. Already thinking of ditching the intel chip series and going formaybe a Ryzen with GeForce NVidia. for a 3070 yes even it is the lower voltage version, it can comfortably last for 3 years. but for me the 3070 is overpriced for the spec you are getting. if the 3060 on the other hand it is a great value if you can get it for 1200 or lower

Ganito sir: kung editing 1080p video with not much effects, di ka talaga madidisappoint dito. Sa games may times it goes up and down sa frames pero not an issue overall. Ang number one thing dito is thermals. Ito lang natest ko so far na consistent at 70+ degrees celcius kahit gaming. Kahit yung tinitest ko now na legion slim 7i na rtx 2060 and 10th gen i7, grabe uminit.

Since you are not just playing games but for productivity more cores means more multitask, and its better suited for multiple monitors and streaming too. It'll save you a lot for longer if you pick 6cores than 4 cores. 6 cores is the safest pick right now

Yep mine has the 8gb ram only thats why i had to add the 16gb crucial ram.

Why not include a noise section in your review? Noise is a crucial factor to (im guessing) 25% of potential buyers. If you do so, I suggest speaking at a normal volume while playing intensive games. Reviewers who place a microphone and display DB fail to make it "real" for most viewers. Otherwise great review :)

@@Apple-xx3wh oh boi, when I upgrade my ram to 16 gb running at 8x2 dual channel, the FPS and GPU usage just went sky high, it was such a wonderful feeling, I get 96+ FPS on AAA games such as Forza Horizon 4, I highly recommend your friend to upgrade it

for video editing you might get frustrated with the bad colors of the display. so might want to get an external monitor/display that can give you better colors. otherwise, this is a beast of a machine.

Locally TUF A15 and Dash are available in nearly same prices. 4 vs 8 cores ;) And in 2021 Intel will be releasing > 4 core 11th gen plus like Alder Lake so price of Dash can drop.

@Złotousty wait, you bought a laptop to use it battery? what kind of heresy is this? :] Battery life on those devices will depend mostly how the dGPU is handled (either by default or what user can do about it). Optimus is good for this but worse for performance and additional features like GSync. And then TDP of the GPU when powered and when on battery. I'm waiting to see what Legion Slim 7 will bring.

I'm having a hard time choosing between this and the Tuf Gaming F15! I love the design of the Tuf Dash F15, especially the USB-C charging. I'm using a Dell 7577 with an i5 and 1060 Max Q, and I'm only looking for a new laptop as the CPU is heavily bottlenecking the GPU. If I go the 4 core route with the Tuf Dash, I might regret it. :(

Bad srgb causes inaccurate color production. If I buy 240hz srgb above 90 percent. Will I be able to enjoy very very high definition video with accurate color. I was hoping to buy the good srgb one.

I recently got the rtx 3060 version at a good price and I'm quite happy about it. For the best gaming performance, I advise connecting to an external monitor and set Turbo on the Armoury Crate software. Playing Cyberpunk 2077 now on Ultra settings (rtx off) and getting a decent fps for such graphics. Greetings from Turkey!

En azından şimdilik beni idare eder, soğutması vs. derken belki bu cihaz daha uzun ömürlü de olabilir. İhtiyacınız yoksa upgrade düşünmeyin ya da Asus ROG gibi daha üst modellere bakabilirsiniz. Mevcut ekonomide bilgisayar almak cep yakıyor.
