Unfortunately I see that this version has the same problem with the venting on the back side of it. The holes are just not big enough to intake the necessary air to cool down the laptop. They sick with the same issue as the previous A15 model. Sad.

nice video. and you finally made them look less childish. but. all my main questions about 2019 tuf's remains. they was ---noisy. make 2k rpm bigger coolers for gods sake. 50db is unbearable. stop using 5-6k rpm crap. ---dim screens. 300+ nit please. stop torturing us. 200 nits are for dark room only. look at this 15-inch model! max brightness, right? ---low color coverage. im ok with 35/55 srgb/adobe in a 250usd laptop with tn. not ok in 1,5k laptop with so called ips. fine, even 800usd gaming is ok with low colors BUT bright. ---you said about 120-144hz..i saw them last year. 30 milliseconds responce time. this nullifies any high refresh rate. specifically-LM156LF-CL03 panel. and i heard ZERO words about this bunch of problems in this video(maybe missed?). which is very sad. save your money on something else, not on our eyes and ears. .. p.s. i can tell you who is brighter and quieter in the same price range. pavilion gaming. no contest, way more user friendly.
@notebookitalia5 жыл бұрын
this video is just an introduction not a review, your comment covers some very interesting topics and highlights some issues which can be better addressed in a review. it is very useful but we didn't run any test on the machine, we just saw it for some minutes at CES 2020. for the noise level and display quality, I should say I kind of expect those kinds of issues on that price point for a gaming laptop, obviously they will try to save money and reduce the cost and typically display and comfort are where they can easily leverage on costs
@williamblake73865 жыл бұрын
@@notebookitalia thanks for the response, but i know it is not a review. you are a media guy, right? look what happens oems coudnt care less about customers ears and eyes. it is not about price range, but about priority! dim screens and 50 decibel is everywhere. who prevents manufacturers from inventing a new, much quieter coolers? all of them are using 5k rpm 5cm diameter and 5mm thin-a 20 year old standard. screens-60herz-20 year old standard. and now look at phone, tv or car market. the whole laptop market is a dogshit, compared to above. and you, media guys, all of you, are on manufacturers side. you also coudnt care less about customers ears and eyes, which is mindblowing. i dont know a single one site, youtuber or any other media guy who said-"this laptop is 50db noisy, do not buy it, unusable". instead everyone is talking about thin bezels and more cores. noisy-minus 5 points, thin bezels-plus 5 points, 90 points total and a recommendation. this is sooo wrong. you, media, should be on the customers side. you should set a priority, not following the priorities of a manufacturer. nothing personal, just an observation.
@notebookitalia5 жыл бұрын
no worries, I appreciate criticism, the reason why they save money on display quality and on cooling is that those informations don't appear on specification lists. The only way for a media to say "it's noisy", or "the screen is slow", is to test them deeply. Of course for hands-on videos or introduction videos like the one we did, we can just explain what we have on the official specifications. We don't have any affiliation with ASUS and we don't get any support by ASUS, all the coverage you see from us is because we pay our trip to trade shows like CES, so you can be sure that, at least on our side, there is no intention to deceive customers but just to show people the latest products by the industry
@williamblake73865 жыл бұрын
@@notebookitalia nevertheless, i don't know a single one media or youtuber being on the customers side. and i am an experienced guy. yes, you guys do some testing and after that 50 decibel device recieves 90% rating or five stars. and again, cheap monitors and tv are ALL bright enough. 200 nit laptops is unusable crap.they should not exist. yes i know you and asus are two different things. i just saying something to them and to you, i have a questions for both :)
