My laptop freezes so I reset/ reformatted my laptop, and reinstall the OS, and my hdd works fine ,but still not working. It still freezes when I play video, copying files and more. Do I need to upgrade my RAM? I have asus X455L like yours.

Pull out the CD player and buy a caddy from AliExpress which acts as an holder for hdd.. make sure to check the size before purchasing.

an SSD is much faster than an HDD because there are no moving parts therefore upgrading your HDD with an SSD will make your pc run faster
