This is crazy! Got scammed a month ago with this board, got exactly the same problem, it's stuck on dram led, from time to time go to CPU led, but unfortunately no fix for mine, its stuck on reset, the previous owner definitely temper with the board, as there is some soldering done near the sio. Unfortunately I don't have a microscope to look closer and impossible to find schematic for this board without a paywall... So far the only thing I try is to flash the bios but with Asus is such a pain (i did manage to find a proper dump on badcaps)... And before that i noticed that i don't have 1.8 v on the ic but 1.4 v, is this normal? Any help would be appreciated. Anyway thank you for the content, I was so thrilled to see u repair this one, I learned a lot from you so keep the good work !

THANKS FOR THE TIP on the pcie slot clip, when mine broke (were slider type ) on older AM3/3+ Asrock boards i just used a zip tie lol to hold in the gfx card lock tab.... older boards used slider type, problem is there are so many different types of PCI-e latches/locks ... wait till the new button press or easy lock/release pci-e slots break (X670E or X870E ) lol

hes using it looks like a whats called a 12v Picu supply (its not a powersupply though, its just the dc-dc conversion aka 12v 5v 3.3 etc.. need an external 12v power brick if you use on of these but this guy (mainboard medic) uses a maybe called a miner psu break out on a server hot swap supply (i dont know the brand he uses) but that what it looks like to me hope this helped

@@Roamor1 Hey there @AgentHondaCivic is right! Ths is a HP server power supply 12V 100A, that has a breakout board for 12V on a 6pn gpu connceter that is then connected to a 12V amp meter in series which then connects a Pico adapter that takes 12V and converts it to a 24 pin atx standard!

I wonder if your debug pcie card might have fixed the stuck reset by having it plugged in and powering the board on with it? just seems like thats the only thing you really did differently before it started working

4:45 The trace third from left seems to be cracked. It might make contact when under pressure from the GPU being mounted.

Nope they are all fine. You can still se the copper contact and also the trace is still wider than the scratch!

Yeah I thought the same, looks like a hairline crack on that trace, wonder maybe it could be causing an intermittent issue!?

Hello! i'm working on a Gigabtye z690 aorus elite ax DDR5 and i was wondering if you know the answer to this question: Should the chipset get hot when powering on the motherboard without CPU and RAM?(the motherboard has the cpu light on and i think the chipset may be the problem but i'm not sure) Thanks! (NEVERMIND, it's the Chipset)

It should get warm but not really hot! You will need to check the resistances off it! Like 1.05V , 1.8V 3VSB etc.

I have asrock b450 mini itx and my board stuck on reset loop, i hear relay in my psu and it reset all the time. Have you some idea what should i check in that board?

If its reseting quickly then Its probably a short somewhere on the board and your PSU goes into protection mode! Checkng out resistances or a thermal camera can help to find the short!

@@erbaelektronix25 Sadly Biostar boardviews are basicly non existend! Sadly i also cant find anything with that marking! You will probably have to get a donor or a similar board to get that component! Very sorry!

Hey there i can do that, but often the board doesnt survive because the Mosfets burns into the board and then its game over!

@@MainboardMedic Thank you for the reply I watch you all the time I think you're right I did heat it up and pulled the mosfet off and it's burnt really good do you by any chance have an old board that works that we could put the cover and the heat sink on that I could buy from you I don't have a lot of money I know 980 TI is old but that's all I can afford and are you located in the US
