big fan of asus going all in on OLED even a basic 1080p panel in their lower end notebooks is incredible and a far cry from the shitty 1366x768 tn panels that were still commonly used a few years ago not a fan of a high end expensive laptop in 2022 STILL having touchpad issues....

Unfortunately not all OLED screens are made equally. I bought the Galaxy Book Pro 360 and the OLED was very dim, had horrible color accuracy & calibration (whites are off by a longshot), and it had this weird rainbow tint effect when shifting angles. Returned it instantly. This and the Zenbook 14X's OLED are definitely miles better.

Does Jerry rig everything do reviews? I thought he just did his durability test and so on. I don't think he's ever actually reviewed a product based on me software at all. That's it I wish you would do some water tests and drop test. To me those seems like bigger issues than a bend test or flame test.

I understand the issue is the prices always drop or increase. In the past I mentioned prices and people always got so annoyed with me it was either more expensive or cheaper. There is also different prices in different regions. So now I wont mention prices in my video as I'm always wrong (Always) it's just a matter of time. And it's not like I can just go and edit it as it's impossible.

webcam is super good but audio from the microphone sucks. its felt like you are talking from far and voice sounded also like you are a robot😆 but everything else are good

Yes the mic is very poor for this spec of laptop not sure what was up with that hopefully ASUS can fix it

Hi Chris, Love your channel, which has guided many (menny ;o) of our phone, and tablet and laptop purchases! Note that the Asus dial was already featured in last year's lineup, depending on the model either as a capacitative dial as here or as a physical turn button as in my Proart Studiobook (ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 OLED W5600, with an AMD 5900HX). The latter also has the RTX 3060 and likely the identical (fantastic) OLED screen, but without touch. Jealous now...

Ah okay do it was in other models for some reason I thought it was the first ad it was on the promotional sticker on the laptop. The touch screen is a nice bonus to have. But your laptop is still fantastic and these OLED screens are stunning so hard to go back to IPS now.

It is amazing machine, I Love it......however Windows 11 is a problem for those who wants to use older software, like MS OFFICE 2007, ADOBE CS2, CS5 CS 6 is not working. After "updating" this machine to WINDOWS 10 PRO (it's FREE and activation code is same), and changing screen 1920 x 1200 this machine works like ROCKET ;)

Sometimes it does but there is an easy fix a matte screen protector however I prefer it’s glossy and touch. The dial hasn’t been an issue really at all when typing

Webcam's microphone is not just disappointing, it's terrible! And we are living in a time and age where webcams are essential tools. I am speechless how is it still possible, after all those years, OEM's still have no clue how to produce laptop's that have consistent and acceptable quality across all laptop's components

I don´t get the concept at all. I get the idea of lifting up the keyboard to make it more comfortable and to let the hot air flow, but what about the stylus? how it is supposed you are going to draw if the screen didn´t open at all or just flip onto the keyboard? And this is more a 'designer computer', but the design fits more with a gaming laptop, with that monster or robot appeal (sharp edges and not minimalist at all). I don´t like it.
