Wow. That's an impressive laptop. It also has RDNA3.5 so it should be decent at gaming. Definitely on top of my wish list right now for the new Strix Point AMD laptops. Looks like ASUS nailed it.

I love EVERYTHING but what do you mean it charges usb only + now powerport. I'm on the fence this is just SO expensive for something so breakable... as someone who has tripped and needed to replace a jack before :( what if I trip and it breaks the board

Really wanted 3200 x 2000 res screen, 2880 at x2 is a 1440 screen and that is a bit to big UI for a 16 inch screen. Eager to get test results for how the Radeon 890m performs in apps like Lightroom and Photoshop.

It might be the thinnest, but lightest? Not be a long shot. Don't get me wrong, it could be great if it has stratospherically good battery life and is really sturdy, but the Acer Swift Edge 16 has a 4k OLED and is only 1.17KG (over 20% lighter).

Everything is nicely done but i have some points: - small keys - no numpad in this size? - touch seemed way too big but it would have been more elegant to have it a little smaller(visually not appealing this way tbh) - lastly the price point of £1699 which will translate to 1699€ or more "without dGPU" is killing it for me. I have some more points but this can be only visible through tests since this isnt a review, i will leave it at that.

Price for the ryzen 365, 24GB ram and 1TB storage is 1699; and for the ryzen 370, 32GB ram and 2TB storage is 2099; officially written on the Asus homepage... Do you think the price will drop, since you claimed the cheaper one to have the higher specs?

Seriously not understanding what all the hype about the size and weight are. 1.5 kg for this size laptop is not unheard of. LG's Gram series have been at it for some time now. I think their 16" model is around 1.3 kg. It also comes with an OLED display and a 10-key keypad. Perhaps the laptop is thinner? I don't know. But at a certain point, is that even a virtue? It seems to come at the expense of robustness and key travel.

For those who travel it is a big deal, for home use get a PC, if you have a laptop, then it is likely you want it portable, common sense really..

But this guy, a paid promoter for Asus, is acting like the laptop is something new and phenomenal. It's not. LG's Gram series has been doing this for years. Same size screen (and also offered in OLED variants) and weighs about half a pound less.

I don't understand why more manufacturers put just a little bit of effort into the speakers. This was actually one of the big reasons why I bought an Asus g14, it actually has MacBook level speakers.
