I'm using this to watch videos via my Raspberry Pi and I get just over 2 hours fully charged. It's very good for videos, nice and clear I don't use the on board audio speakers as they are a wee bit tinny for my taste, I use the 3.5 stereo socket on the Pi with a set of KRK KNS-8400.

Hi, my asus laptop has incompatibility issues with the asus monitor i bought (MB169C+), type c slot can only power on the monitor but couldnt display. HDMI slot also can only have display but cant power on. I was adviced by ASUS to get this monitor (MB16AMT) instead. Does this set come with both cables then attach to the monitor's type c slot?

Hi, I am not able to connect my asus mb16ac to my HP Elitebook laptop. I get the error message: your device does not support dp alt mode. And the software from Asus do not work. Do you have any solution to that?

I think this is a dumb question, but since this monitor is very expensive, I need to know: will my ROG Phone 2 also made by Asus will also work with touch functions like the phone on the video? I have a EGOBAS portable monitor too and the Galaxy S9+ works like a charm, but when I plug the Asus ROG 2 nothing happens. =/

One of the reasons it might not be working with your PC is because of either the adapter, ports, or cables that you are using when using type A. In order for it to work either the cable that you are using is not USB 3.0 or the port that you are plugging it to. Either that or it needs manual detection from the display settings.

Thanks for the review. I just bought one on sale at Best Buy for $320. I need it for my Mac Mini. I currently use my iPad with Luna Display as a second monitor, but Luna Display keeps dropping connection after latest MacOS updates.

PATH.CODE you have to use usb for touch. Touch doesn’t work with iPads with lightning. I don’t have an iPad Pro with usb-c to test out. I also found out that Thunderbolt 2 to usb-c adapter doesn’t work, but it will charge the battery oddly enough.

I know this is late kuya pero ung asus mb168b ba na wxga,3.0 usb c gagana ba na smooth pc not for gaming but for secondary monitor. Does this monitor have a Type C power pass through in order to charge smaller devices connected to it like a smartphone? and with the Qualcomm QC3.0, do you think you can charge and use it on the go with just a powerbank with QC3.0?? :D i think may older version nitong monitor na bit cheaper and doesn't have this one's awesome features. can you compare it sa SpectrePro side by side to check colour accuracy? 😅😅

It only has one USB Type C port so it can not charge other device but since it has a built-in battery it doesn't drain the ones that are connected to it. I think yes, you can use it while being charged. Unfortunately, I don't have the monitor anymore so I can't compare it with the SpecterPro, I also don't have a color calibration tool yet because it is kinda expensive but I am planning on getting one soon!

I appreciate this review but would have like it more and disappointed that you only show how to use the stylus to prop up the monitor and did not show (not the speed up stand setup) how to use the included stand and how to fold it because it can be confusing. I got mine used so it did not come with the stylus or any of the printed material/instructions on how to use and physically setup the stand

No! It's just a ball pen with a capacitive end. It's not a stylus and not suitable for art at all. The capacitive end just acts as a finger.

you have to connect the type C to your phone and the monitor, also you better download the zenscreen touch app in google play to check the touch function
