My favourite product reviewer! Great product intro. I didn’t even know portable monitors existed like that. Very cool.

Sorry to remind you but the purpose of the hole on the lower right is for the pen/stylus to insert in it so you could stand vertically with out any hassle.

I had to smile while watching your video - I own the display over the year and trying to use the foldable cover as a stand makes me always feeling stupid. As you mentioned, this is the only negative issue with the display. Maybe you could introduce here video how to use the foldable cover :-). That is what I was looking for today... All the best :-)

How do you really find the battery life as what you say seems like it's just from. The spec sheet. I am really interested in this screen. Also when the battery has died can you still charge it when you already have a USB C device already plugged into it. I am intending to use it like Dex with my Samsung GALAXY note 10 plus

You don't need to push the flaps up inside the stand, they "curtsy" to one side for vertical standing.

Firstly, great review, very helpful I have the MB16AC. I am trying to decide if I need to upgrade to have a Battery and Touch screen. Although it was a struggle in the beginning, I now love the fold able display after learning how to use it. They improved on the iPad. And as mentioned in the comments above a Pen in the hole solves any issues with the stand. My only really complaint though is the lack of VESA support. Some sort of VESA adapter would make this perfect.

does this connect to nintendo switch directly with usb C to usb C? (without the dock)
@jimmyshoehorn39064 жыл бұрын
I too would love to know the answer to this. It’s basically what I’m trawling through KZbin for tonight. I know there is a C Force portable monitor that seems to allow it, I saw one review video of it. I’m looking for a portable monitor with speakers that can play the Switch with a single usb-c to usb-c cable.
@Pianist7137Gaming4 жыл бұрын
@@jimmyshoehorn3906 i checked, this model doesnt connect directly you still need the dock. theres a brand called wimaxit which has monitors that connects directly.

Nice concept but unfortunately I had two of these with cracked LCD. The design is flawed and the screen is extremely fragile, something that is not examined in the reviews. If you cant put this portable screen in a laptop bag then what's the point designing the product?. Asus doesn't offer repair services for these as well, so if anything happens you basically throw the money spent down the drain. Unfortunately, I would discourage anyone from buying one.
@Yowzoe3 жыл бұрын
I'd only get one with the 4 yr. extended warranty for just this reason. Usually I'd avoid those warranties, but this thing needs it.

I think this is a dumb question, but since this monitor is very expensive, I need to know: will my ROG Phone 2 also made by Asus will also work with touch functions like the phone on the video?
