This keyboard seems very nice, but what's most impressive is how knowledgeable this script is on details that matter to keyboard enthusiasts. As someone who likes custom keyboards, and who has built nearly a dozen, but who also likes gaming keyboards with gaming features, I really appreciate the effort ROG has put in recently. I would love to see these features moving over to the FOG Falchion, since it's the size profile that I and most other FPS-oriented players prefer.

ordered this keyboard and it arrived today, it’s already the best keyboard i’ve owned. had to get a replacement as my Razer BlackWidow V4 75% started having double-press issues after about 2 months lol, which is apparently such a common issue with their keyboards. never going back, i love my new daily driver.

just ordered mine to be delivered today. returning my v2 huntsman linear switches. i dont mind the sound but i love the sound of the snow switches on the asus. ive seen many complaints about synapse but i dont do alot of remapping for my gaming and chroma is great for games. but the sound and typing experience seems hard to beat on this keyboard. plus its tkl but still has full size buttons basically

I dont think you will be dissapointed. They keyboard feels amazing despite is relatively small size and it sounds pretty good. Be prepared for battles with Aura Sync if you plan on using that. Only armoury crate is fine, but aura sync is buggy with this keyboard. Also if you plan on using more simple RGB lighting and patterns its fine, the individual button config that mess things up, with aura sync and with the RGB. All in all a very good keyboard with a buggy software.

@@danfferscottbravomartinez2915 Hey bro sorry for the late response. It doesn't have any power button. But u may switch it to USB if you want to turn it off. But in my experience, if the 2.4 switch is active even if it's unused, it doesn't affect its battery or it doesn't consume any power from the battery itself.

Have just bought this a week ago. I had the SteelSeries TKL PRO before but returned it due to it turning of randomly and repeatedly. Really bad experience. Plus the SS don’t have a numpad so wasn’t happy. The ROG however has been brilliant so far. The noise is so much less than the SS.

not sure about the tactile switches. i feel like snow switches are more tacile than linear per the numbers for actuation and force. fullsize showing on amazon for cheaper than the 96 version. believe 96 is $175 basically and the fullsize version is $125 on amazon

how can one adjust / change the rgb settings? i find it annoying how the backlit keys go dark after a certain amount of time. this is annoying when gaming in a dark room. I've tried armory crate but i cant seem to fond the keyboard as a device on there. any help would be appreciated. and the keyboard is top notch my favorite keyboard ive used by far.

It’s also meant to be marketed towards keyboard enthusiasts so it has all necessary features but it doesn’t comes with a fancy switch lubing kit (can also be bought on the internet though) and it has 1500 hours instead of 2000 on the azoth wich may be because of its bigger size and it’s cheaper by a good amount since it’s a strix keyboard and asus rog stuff without the strix added to it are usually luxury products that come with an extra tax for being their highend products like rog hero or Maximus mainboards for example And as you can see no oled

Notice how they actually sell 2 versions of the same keyboard - one as shown here, where the 1 to 0 secondary legends are also lit up, and one where they are below the primary legends and dont. Is this some kind of false advertising on behalf of ASUS? I am trying to find a UK version of the one shown here but it seems all the pro shops dont seem to know what I'm talking about and can't help. Any suggestions?

There are actually more than 2 layouts, and multiple languages. In the UK you should have the UK layout in stores, other countries have their own languages and layouts.

Actually found out that the ABS version is the one where all the legends are lit. Doesn't make much sense because the PBT version also has certain keys where both legends are lit (situated side by side rather than top/bottom). Why do this? Just spend a little extra and etch all as the ABS because the PBT keys are more hard-wearing.

Just purchased this keyboard two days ago. The size is interesting, 96% feels much smaller, but thats probably because im used to full size keyboards with dedicated macro keys. It feels amazing and sounds very good, although i care little for the sound since im husing headphones for the most part. However.... Asus..... fix your damn software. Fix drivers. This keyboard is supposed to be Aura Sync supported, and while that is techically true, it's not an easy pairing and the bugs are quite substantial because the keyboard stops working when it goes into sleep mode IF its setup in aura sync. I mean... what? Armoury Crate is a great idea, too bad you dont have people that can make it work. Great Keyboard, great hardware.... terrible software.

Oh don’t mind my previous comment if it hasn’t been deleted (because KZbins delete button is kinda broken) the newer full size version seems to be worse since it’s only wired and it’s basically gamer trash like razer since it has worse switches and no hotswap but I guess if it’s priced well (idk the price since it’s not on the market yet in Germany) then it is a good keyboard for gamers who have 0 expectations other than that it just works

About fucking time you get more into detail of this keyboard and show it between a tkl and full size. Do to im a visual kind of guy. I would had gone with the Azoth if you made a f lock function on that. When I full off the space bar. The stabilizer's whatever the extra spacers on the spacebar are. They like to pop off and stay on the keyboard. Im not a gamer. This was my first keyboard purchase . A deedicated calculator function might not be a bad touch.

I own a small number of gaming keyboards, I buy them when they're on sale & save them, b/c you never know when they're going to break & you need a replacement fast, & you do not want junk. This keyboard, the Strix II 96 feels amazing, I type up to 80 words a mins, & I think I am hitting over 100 with this, I need to find a typing program to test myself. And yes it clicks, but it is so quiet & if anyone complains, tell them to go screw themselves, b/c the snow keys are super low in clickiness. And it feels sturdy enough uses a weapon in a fight against a Kodiak bear.

It’s probably about to release or it’s already released in the usa but nowhere else but you should know that the 100% version is very far away from the original one since it’s not wireless, not hotswappable, it doesn’t uses nx switches but worse ones and it seems to be made for a general group of gamers who have 0 expectations other than that it just works because it’s also marketed as water resistant just like some cheap gaming keyboards from razer or Corsair

ABS keycaps offer all laser-etched (illuminated) legends, for PBT keycaps, it's a different manufacturing process for secondary legends.

I would say that the volume,skip... keys have to be very easy to access I'll buy the Rog Strix Scope NX TKL 80%. And the color is grey. I'll get the Moonlight version. I'll buy an other one,to switch but at base it's to play a game that require a lot of a F key pressing,with my other laptop. I like the Azoth but this one have more keys and it's not too big,it's unique. This one is different so I think I'll choose this one. But both are only compatible with Windows 10 or gaming devices so I'll search for something else. Maybe I'll buy an other one for my new laptop but not now,then I'll be able to get even new releases. A part of that,black is a squwashy and dark color too much is not good. Exemple if you put a hanging fan you will see it too much. If you want to make a very i-tech thing I would suggest an other color. I though that the Rog Scope NX was wireless I'll get the Scope 2 96 or the Azoth. Oh!Now I see The Rog Scope NX have wired or wireless versions,so I'll get the NX TKL Deluxe wireless version.

It doesn't seem like you can change the color of the individual keys, it seems like it's all or nothing. So¨no possibility to assign a single key a color while others have other colors or are switched off. It doesn't seem like you can turn off the light between keys so that only the key lights up. You haven't shown it anyway, so I'm assuming it doesn't have this ability to change color for a single key. Therefore, I will not go out and buy this keyboard. But instead find a keyboard where I can decide everything key by key myself.

Complete trash keyboard. Body still full of cheap glossy plastics. LED indicator made by cheap glossy plastics, scratched the moment you touch it. Left ctrl dead after only 4 months of light usage. Claimed warranty, it's been a month and still no solution from asus. Asus service center just claimed that the keyboard currently out of stock so I have to wait for whoever know how fucking long do i have to wait. Never will I choose Rog to be put on my desk again.
