For anyone reading this, I watched Ray’s videos almost daily for about a month and also did two practice exams along with other forms of studying for about two months before the exam and passed on the first try. Hey, Tribe! Error/Clarification: Maslow does not have a crisis intervention model. The book discussed how Crisis Intervention models were influenced by aspects of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.

I can tell you I took my clinical exam June of last year and passed on my first attempt. I credit God and Raytube for my success on the exam.

@@Tonetoniboy I’m sorry to hear that…for me I studied for 3 months, some days for 8 hours and others for 2-4 hours and I also read the code of ethics everyday like it was my bible. I took the practice exam a month before and studied that alongside raytube videos. Four days before the exam I took off work and I watched raytube videos all day…along with doing various practice questions. The day of my exam I read the code of ethics and prayed. During the exam when my anxiety took over and I began imagining the worst I prayed and wrote my favorite bible scriptures. Took deep breaths and pushed through. I needed 103 to pass I got 117. Don’t give up.

@@BikerChic6511 I watched A LOT of Ray’s videos and practice questions, as well as additional free study guides and really worked to understand the concepts instead of memorizing them. The exam truly tests your application verses you being able to memorize definitions, theories, etc. I wrote flashcards, including definitions and came up with different scenarios for each, every time that I studied. I also ate “brain food” for two weeks up to the test. Most importantly, I believed in myself, breathed through each question, and did not change an answer after finalizing them. I also praised myself for being brave and showing up for myself and my profession either way before submitting my exam. Good luck on your upcoming exam, friend! I believe in you 🤗 Keep me posted on the outcome!

@@paigestubbins23 thank you so much. This confirm so much for me. I’ve done the same. I studied on how to answer the question and understand what they are asking for versus memorization. Our field is too broad to memorize every single thing. But what you confirmed for me is you basically saying to have confidence in myself, trust the process and rely on God. My faith is all I have right now and I plan to pass it with faith. Thank you so much. I will keep you posted. As soon as I pass. 😊

hey Ray! This is off topic, but I took my exam for the 1st time on April 1st & failed by 11 points. If I answered 88 questions correctly but needed 99 correct answers to pass, do those 11 points equate to 11 more questions I needed to have gotten right?
