WBGThunderstruck Not necessarily. We see HER eyes turn, not his, and it is possible he is something else. Every other demon in the show flashes even when in their standard body, but not Crowley.

WBGThunderstruck I am not saying he can't be, but I am saying they have handled him differently than other demons and until the end of season 8 there wasn't any real proof. Supernatural has played with our expectations many, many times and they could easily do the same with Crowley.

His explanation doesn't quite make sense, because when Crowley possessed Kevin's mom, he still spoke with his British voice. Seems like sometimes demons get attached to a particular voice, and they always speak like that in the series. Meg and Alistair always seemed to speak with the same tone. Which reminds me, what happens if you DO cure a demon? Do they still only exist in essence, as a cloud of smoke that possesses people, or are they forever attached to that body? What happens to the original owner of the body? They never got around to explaining that.

I would imagine that if they do cure a demon, the soul would then be cleansed and able to go to heaven. A regular old soul isn't capable of possessing a body, so I imagine it would leave, at which point the original person in the body would either recover, if they hadn't been possessed long, or die, if the vessel is damaged.

calliope720 No there was the one demon cured by the priest in the 50s which they watch on that old film and the demon's soul becomes human again, stays in the body and begs for forgiveness. I think they mention that this sucks ass for the vessel's soul and Dean or Sam wonders about the ethics of saving a demon's life and giving it a second chance and causing an innocent to die.

I think what a lot of non-English women don't understand is that if an English man starts teasing you and embarrassing you, it's actually not malicious, it is just our humour and is actually a sign of flirting. Seems to me that the demon would pronounce the words in the way in which he was accustomed (which, in Crowley's case would be with a scottish accent) regardless of the nationality of his vessel....so Mark is just being snarky and sassy, as usual....

Yes ofc he know his character, but he was mistaken about the vocal chord part, since they don't the decide how you talk, that's the brain. So it's just weird! Demons seems to remember everything of their past life, so why wouldn't they remember the way they talked/accent? Cos' the demon takes full control of the body, so yeah, I just thinks it weird o-o

KasukuSaki The brain does not judge how you sound when you speak. Air is pushed past your vocal cords and the re-verb of the air bouncing around making a sound in your skull that produces your voice. So honestly he is correct since the "Vessels" skull is the same the voice should be the same, doesn't matter if an entity infested a body unless they stretch or widen the vocal cords to change the sound the voice will stay the same.

She absolutely did not enjoy that experience. You can hear in her voice as it goes on she's trying very hard not to be confrontational, and then finally just gives up. To be honest, he was a bit of a dick to her. Smiling face and laughing tone is one thing, but the words underneath were nothing but argumentative. I feel kinda sorry for her.
