Very thoughtful analysis and great points! It’s an extremely well run company with a wide moat. However the biggest issues are lack of clarity on its TAM, regulation risk. Worse if there are a series of bad press on guest experiences, things can fall off a cliff pretty fast.

One concern - last two hosts that I’ve stayed have sent me to their personal websites to book future stays without all the fees. If even hosts do this, $ABNB will lose customers and revenue

Great video! Really enjoyed your guest's knowledge as well. I previously owned a stake in ABNB and just sold after the earnings report because it got a bit pricey on a fwd P/E multiple, but it kills me a little because of how much I love the business model and believe they will ride a long secular growth trend....hoping it trends back down for me to get in at a better multiple or they grow into the price over the next few years.

It seems foolish to compare ABNB to established S&P companies with respect to P/E. A fairer comparison would be to tech stocks like Uber, Lyft, Dash, Pinterest, and even older ones like CRM. It's earnings multiple is a lot better than those, well because a lot of those are not profitable. Don't get me started on companies like Snowflake, coinbase, etc. It's just ironic that when a tech company starts generating earnings, it's scrutinized more than those that aren't profitable lol.
