Great job explaining it! I wish my professor was as good as you are, but he's not, & I suppose that's why he tells us to just watch your videos. lol. (I know, kind of sad, but at least we still learn instead of failing out.)

Is it possible to pull off the Qnot output for the LSB input to your NAND gate? So instead of pulling a 0 off the Q you're pulling a 1 off the Qnot??

@ 15:07 , if QNOT is already inverse of Q, by it's very nature, if you were to place an inversion dot like you have on QNOT's output, wouldn't the result of the negation be in the same phase and delay as Q?

If QNOT is fed into the clock input of the next flip flop, shouldn't it toogle on the negative side of the clock pulse?

To make an asynchronous counter using D flip flops, would I just connect D to Q? Or would I have to create a T flip flop (like you did by tying both J and K together) by adding an XOR gate, with it's output being the input of D, and one of the inputs of the XOR gate being one of the outputs of the D gate? Sorry for the long question, Please help!

You should make more complicated counters like 3 8 14 21 ...
