Wonderful ❤. Rather emotional to watch. Here in the UK we remember the sacrifice of so many young American airmen to whom the English Countryside was the last friendly place they'd ever see before heading off over occupied Europe. Thousands of miles from home they gave their lives for our freedom 🇺🇲🇬🇧 lest we forget!

I loved the initial shots: An old man, showing his age, lovingly tending to his ancient but venerated and pristine airplane, towing it out of the hangar with an equally ancient and venerated vehicle, a WW2 GP (Jeep). It was heartening to see how the "old man" has retained his formation flying skills, still agile in the air even if showing his age on the ground.

I grew up polishing Jim Eberharts planes and spent many days on tour with Julie and my Dad who flew together before his crash. It's great to see these old Warbirds still in such good condition as when I last touched them 30 years ago. It was a great upbringing being a airport rat. Juan - Fantastic video and no doubt memorable for all those at the ceremony. I've never flown in an AT-6 and this gave me an appreciation of what my Dad flew in training in WW2 - then on to B-25s. Two weeks before he died suddenly in 1984 he went to the small airshow at the grass strip he had learned to fly at in early 1941 - a beautiful fall Sunday. Wished I had known he was going - he got a ride in both an AT-6 and a Stearman. Told both pilots he had flown them (and owned a Stearman after the war) and said he got two good rides. Was like a kid in a candy store when he told us all about it late that afternoon. I'm really glad he got to make both those flights. Thanks for a vision of what he saw learning formation flying all those years ago.

The SNJ/AT-6 were called "The Great Pilot Maker" for good reason...
