This isn't the first time I've seen you pull up at my old stomping grounds, Willow Landing Marina- fishing dock slots my father used to occupy years ago. That exact section of catwalk is where I caught my first dropshot bass... She can get swampy and blown the hell out that far back in the creek, but I learned a ton fishing in that section of the Potomac... and knowing one my favorite anglers heads out there makes it even cooler! If you think that 2nd day was tough try fishing the upper Potomac dam 4 and 5. It's become so pressured because of pleasure boaters and wave runners and jet skiers that it's almost impossible to catch good fish. And there's pretty big smallies in there too

You know the thing is long as you get out there and like you said it sucks, but you got to stay positive not hoping it’s just doing what you do best and that’s present that bait is best as you can do you know this as well as any man never try to reach past your own Grasp I know that’s not the analogy and meant for you but I believe you going all the way down past there it took you passed a shot of being able to go for two spots throughout the day like you said you know it was it once you were down there you were down that way but I’m glad you still made out you know do you know something is always better than nothing and finish in a good spot always better than nothing you know you got to realize it’s like a football game is like any given Sunday, I know just looking back you would wish probably you know you would’ve changed your direction and the way you fished!
