This video made me so happy. Once upon a time back in 2002, I visited the village with my younger siblings and parents. Our younger sister suffered from paralysis and liver disease. She wasn’t predicted to live past the age of 15. After a lot of pain and sadness, it was the best week of our lives and we owe our love of Disney World to Give Kids the World. It brought me to tears to see that important work still being done. Also! Happy to report our younger sister celebrated her 23rd birthday just yesterday! Thanks for the work you guys (and adorable Jackson) are doing with the village and for the video 🤍

Thank you for showing the wheelchair accessible cart, as well as room. My mother is paralyzed in a wheelchair for over 20 years. It is really important to show these things so that anyone in wheelchair that can not transfer can feel more comfortable before booking a trip. I was saying to my s.o. that it makes me sad that the entire world isn’t accessible the way G.K.T.W is. It should be; it’s so simple a lot of the time to make things accessible.
@lisalo83443 жыл бұрын
@@kaspertillae6893 Yes. Thank you for saying this. We need much more accessibility. A lot of peopledo not have any idea how important just handicap spots are in parking lot until they have to unfortunately utilize them because it is necessary.... let alone booking a hotel room etc. It ain't easy. xoxo

Love seeing GKTW! My baby has a star in there somewhere. It's definitely emotional seeing all the stars. We got great news that after a few more years of MRI'S our son will no longer need to do them! As the tumor he had isn't known to reacurr after 10 yrs. He is at 8.5 yrs remission! We are so happy and thankful. We definitely want to volunteer. I will be looking into it. Possibly as soon as next yr! 💖💖💖

So happy that GKTW is somewhat opened back up, and can start granting wishes, and magic magic again - SUCH an important mission of joy! Such wonderful additions, and things planned for the future - makes my heart full to see it all. I think if I ever got to see the Castle of Miracles, and the stars, I'd definitely cry. Your hot fudge sundae sounds SOOOOO good Jenn, except for the sprinkles. :) The villa refurbs look fantastic. Although - like you said - they look pretty darned nice now, given a few knocks. Socially distanced hugs to the 3 of you from New Jersey! Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!!

When Jurassic Park first opened in 1993, there was an exhibit about the film at Universal Studios Hollywood in one of the sound stages just off the Lower Lot. You could interact with some of the props (it took three people to operate the baby raptor in the egg!), and this Triceratops was a photo op. It didn't breathe back then, so I wonder if this is the actual prop, or a replica using the same molds.
