Just a tip : The Olaplex no 3 should be applied to damp hair. The water in your hair, for lack of a better word, "activates" it.

It's good to see you again Gina. I think once you get your trimming schedule down, you will see even more length. It's hard to find a good stylist. Years ago, I watched licensed stylist videos teaching you how to cut your own hair at home. I started cutting my own hair and never looked back. I can see less manipulation has been a major asset for you.

lol it wont be damaged. I flattened the mess out of my leave out for 2 months and it barelyyyyy changed it. It did a bit, but to me it just made it easier lol. Im like dang, I need to do this to the rest of my head lol. Your hair looks good! I finally have a stylist I can go to every 2-3 months for a trim! I went to her before my sew in and im going back in the next few weeks.

Nice job. Less product would make it more flowy. Salon products like the super skinny should be 1 pump for the whole head 2 if you have very long hair. They are very concentrated

I actually prefer my hair to be a little heavy. When I use less products it’s extremely light weight to the point it ends up looking like a blowout. But do what works for you

Try blow drying then silk pressing.

Turned out good. I think I want to incorporate a round brush in my blow drying. I plan to blow dry within the next couple weeks.

Honestly it changed the game for me. I could never get my hair this straight with just a blow dryer and a paddle brush.

Your hair is so thick and healthy. You should splurge and get a professional silk press…it would be way longer and straighter. Treat yourself.

Are you using good shears? That could be the issue with the split ends. Unless it’s dry. Also, when my hair used to lightly revert back like yours, I would put just a TAD bit of oil in it and either wrap it and put my scarf on or blow it out with the hair dryer. I’m also type 4C with major density girl. And heat damage was never an issue for me. Also, shower with the door open with warm water. No steam! Lol

My shears better be good. I paid 150 for them. Lol. But but this was the first time I trimmed my hair in over a year. I was going to someone else this last year. I just don’t think she did that great of a job. Kinda feel like her trimming was patchy. So I’m searching for a new stylist

Maybe try my stylist/line sister, she is located in Bellaire, her salon is called Almond Blossom and her name is Adrian Gantt, I’m not sure how you’ll feel about her prices but I think they are reasonable (and I don’t get an LS discount, lol)

Try using rollers. It still has a significant volume. My short silk. press lasts a month because I use Velcro and silk rollers. Try using rollers. It still has a considerable volume-my short Silk. Press lasts a month because I use Velcro and silk rollers.💐🙌🙏

Instead of getting a trim so often, are you interested in cutting it? Then just trimming to maintain the health.
@OneSmartFro2 жыл бұрын
Naw. Only because I’ve done that before and the main issue is I always still wait months to trim. Also I don’t think it’s that bad that I need to give myself an actual cut. I did that before about 2 years ago.

You must wear a lot of updos
