Yesterday I heard a piece on the radio that I, and everyone else, have heard far, far too many times: "The Lark Ascending," by Vaughan Williams. Achh, I reached for the dial, but then heard something different in the violin's sound. So I listened to the piece all the way through until the very last, amazing note. At one moment I realized a bird had entered my room. All the things that characterize birds were there: the hesitations, the sudden bursts, the sadness some birds convey, and the joy. Nothing like that had happened before in the scores of times I heard this piece. It was beyond beautiful...it was transporting. I won't ever forget that sound - I can hear it now - and how something old, worn out, overused can be so amazingly brought to life in the hands of a brilliant musician. Thank you, Mr. Zukerman.

So wonderful to see Pinchas. Had the wonderful opportunity to do tennis sessions for him at RLTC , Ottawa. Great guy. Cheers

Amanda Forsyth and Pinchas Zukerman are extremely talented and charismatic people. They're bringing classical music to a new generation of people especially now with fine music.

Enlightening. I am a working professional musician (not classical); I also hardly listen to music. I'm either playing it or or thinking it, no external source needed. Glad I'm in good company:)

Looking at this gentleman’s body language and facial expressions, he seems to be marking time until he can get the eff out of there.

Zuckerman has studied only music all his life. So there is a very lack of common sense. And he likes to insult people who are more talented than him.

I play classical music but I have no respect for such a disgraceful and racist musician. Zukerman must stop making culturally insensitive and ignorant remarks to young musicians who are Asian or Asian descendants.

That's their private matter and has nothing to do with their quality of music. I really don't understand why people always have to mix it up. Just leave it for the bloody yellow press and better care for their music. Mr. Zukerman's body language is very interesting in this interview....

They’ve been together for a longtime. Good god! Why can’t you be happy for them instead of judging their relationship. What a terrible person you are!
