This comment may be deleted soon, but before it is, I want to highlight that I am a psychiatrist, and a behaviour analyst. There are numerous instances where Buble displays contempt towards his wife, showing aggression, dismissiveness, and repugnance towards her on over two dozen occasions. Observing his facial expressions while she speaks reveals a simmering rage, often masked by cutting sarcasm and humiliating jokes, such as "you're dead to me." It's worth noting that during a live feed, he was observed elbowing his wife when she greeted fans before him. It's important for people to recognize these behaviors before this comment is removed. Despite Buble's talent as a singer, he exhibits hallmark traits of a narcissistic abuser.

I'm so glad you mentioned this, because even as a lay person I could read his aggression and contempt for his wife. If he behaves like this in front of the camera, God only knows how he behaves towards her in private. It's obvious he doesn't like sharing the limelight with anyone, least of all his beautiful wife. I seriously admired Michael ever since I heard his first song. His music gave me hope for love and the romantic aspect of his music was out of this world. His voice is absolutely amazing and he seemed like a really genuine guy...the kind of guy you wished you were friends with. Fast forward today and when I heard about the video where he supposedly elbows her, but seemed like a nudge to me, I didn't want to believe that he could be someone that might possess an abusive nature. But after witnessing the montage of videos where he and his wife share the camera, I was deeply disappointed in the way he conducts himself in front of his wife. Clearly there is something wrong with their relationship. I do understand there are two sides to a story, but they definitely need marriage counseling and he may also need additional help. You let me down Michael!

Ikr, i thought he was joking at first but then he kept on about it. To me it seemed like he points out minor ‘flaws’ then he looks justified in his anger when he loses it. If you watch other videos there are so many signs - there’s one where he thought the camera was off and he sd he was going to kill her, Then when he repeated it you could tell he had realized what he had done and immediately tried to correct it by playing it off as a joke. His rage looks barely contained half the time.

Me too. She's deeply wounded emotionally and psychologically. Despite her smiles, her eyes remain unsmiling, there is a lack of joy owing to too much internal pain. Once the camera stops rolling, he's likely to unleash his disgust and rage towards her. Narcissistic injuries, like the one Michael experienced when left stranded in front of the camera, trigger intense feelings of anger. He felt the pressure to maintain his perfect image and refrain from openly ridiculing her, but his disdain for her was unmistakable for all to see.

As someone who's intimately familiar with cluster B personality disorders and tactics of abuse, I had to pause this video three times in order to get some distraction because it was too painful to watch. Margaret, this video is no joke and should be taken very seriously. One of the favorite tactics of abusive individuals is to inflict abuse disguised innocent play and then shame a victim for her or his reaction to abuse as having "no sense of humor" or being "too sensitive", or otherwise questioning victim's sanity for "imaging things that aren't there". This is gaslighting. Gaslighting is a form of manipulation and psycho-emotional abuse. Jokes are not hurtful. Jokes do not covertly tear down, humiliate, insult, intimidate, infantalize, degrade, talk over or talk down to and otherwise aggressively *destroy* one's partner. Aggression is not funny. Psychological violence perpetrated on another individual is not funny. Abuse actually begins right off the bat, when Michael starts off his video by trying to charm the audience with his "matrimonial" gripes about... what a royal c**t his wife is. We should kinda feel sorry for the poor chap for putting up with her craziness, unappreciative of his sweetly endearing, Christmas-loving person. As he narrates this story, his fists are flying in the air in no joking manner. Does he feel like punching the life out of her because she's busy with her "stupid cupcakes" (I quote) when he feels like filming, or punish her by strangling? The wife's hurt is evident throughout. It's especially clear in the cupcake part of the video, when she stands up for herself and tries to communicate how awful, stupid, incompetent, useless and invisible this man's treatment makes her feel. As her voice breaks, you can even *hear* her tears: "No! ... You make me look like I do NOTHING. You know, I [have] my energy! Look at my smile! I'M HERE! I did CUPCAKES." When we consider other possible scenarios, we realize that a loving husband would most likely not miss this opportunity to show off his blessing to the whole world and proudly announce that taking care of the family comes first in his wonderful wife's priorities and right now she's making delicious cupcakes, and she'll join with us soon. To a trained eye, markers of Narcissistic Personality Disorder are present in verbal structures, peculiar choice of words, and body language that reveals aggression and emotional instability (dysregulation). What we are witnessing here is known as ambient narcissistic abuse. Often, it is only a matter of time when psycho-emotional violence turns physical.

I find videos such as this one, quite entertaining, not for the content, but because some of us can tell a lot of what’s going on with many couples who at the beginning of this virus found themselves bored in isolation; bored of each other; arguing with each other; fighting; and really getting to truly know each other instead of being away from each other everyday at their jobs or away for weeks/months due to demanding careers….and sadly many couples ended up in divorce once people were given the ok to go back to work.

After watching these videos, I have changed my mind about him. He is used to people catering to him. In the videos there are a lot of rough arm grabs, roughly pulling her over to him, roughly putting his around her, controlling her. He needs to be the center of attention. His rude comments are concerning. "The stupid muffins. You are so dead to me. I am going to divorce. You think I am kidding but I am not." He said in an interview that he was prone to violence as a kid and he will probably do it again. He said he isn't guarded and doesn't have a filter so he struggles to hold back his temper when he is angry and it pisses him off to even think about having to hold back his feelings when he is angry. He doesn't think he should have to. You can see that in the videos. He is angry, then trying to smile, then angry again, all the rude comments. He has no impulse control or self control. It is all about him. He seems self centered and needs anger management, but it pisses him off to even think about holding back what he needs to say so it is doubtful he would seek it. His behavior is really childish. He seems like a little boy who didn't grow up. He doesn't take responsibility for his behavior. Instead of saying he was sorry for being so rough with his wife in the other video, he had her say she is fine. You know he did. All of these videos make him look bad. I think if he reads these comments, he would just dismiss them. I loved his singing but listening to it now I would feel the energy of all of this and it won't be the same for me. You have exposed your behavior to the world in all of these videos. If there was the least bit of humility we might be more understanding. Saying you are not guarded and you don't have a filter is not an excuse for this behavior. Michael you can heal whatever inner issues you have going on inside you. Being quick to anger isn't good for anyone. This is not healthy behavior. I can't imagine if this is what he is showing the world, what might go on behind closed doors. I can imagine him acting like a victim to her if he does read all these comments. Or turn it around on her. "You were interrupting me, you were late, it's your fault I was angry" etc. Hopefully she doesn't enable him. Get help for your family's sake and you would be happier too. You deserve to do that for yourself. Your children don't need to see that and your wife doesn't deserve that. That's not love. What are you modeling for them? Did you have some abuse in your childhood? There is definitely verbal and emotional abuse here, shaming her, threatening divorce, "your stupid muffins and you are dead to me" comments. The way he roughly pushes her, aggressively puts his arm around her shoulder like he is trying to hold her in a tight grip and control her. Don't let your ego make you believe that this won't affect your career. You are going to lose fans if you keep this up. Hopefully all of these comments will open your eyes. A mirror has been shone on you for a reason and it was of your choosing. Don't squander the opportunity. This was disturbing to watch. I do hope for the best for you and your family.

That was way over the top reaction for 2 minutes late. You should care more about your wife than others. Looks like she is covering for you and your meanness. It could have been funny that she was late but, it turned into yuck. I total changed my mind how I feel about things watching this one. Stupid muffins? Abusive! Yikes! Now, I am sure this what I write will get HER in trouble instead of Mike having an introspective moment and change and never behave so badly again. There are many things that made me feel uncomfortable while watching this. First, he seems very irritated with her presence and when she speaks. He can’t hide the expression in his face. He also verbally says that he’s tired of waiting for her and how late she is to everything. His frustration and anger that she’s not sitting there with him when he started the video seems to be out of proportion. I’m this case she was late cause she was making cupcakes for their children.
