When I think of the number of homes in my neighborhood that have been reroofed with a team of 4-6 men, and there you and Ashley are, all on your own. It is mind blowing. And on the grander scale, when you are all finished you can say that you've rebuilt the entire house yourselves. How many people have done that? Plus, if I remember correctly, it's yours, free and clear! At your ages?! Incredible!

It was smart of you guys to put a shingle roof instead of a metal roof. When we lived in our mobile home, my husband put a metal roof on it. It seemed like a good idea at first but we soon learned we could not get reception on our cell phones. And I love that you guys put an overhang, it dresses it up nicely.

Your son will have wonderful childhood memories of falling asleep in the sun, watching his parents build a home. I don't know how you walk up a ladder, with a huge piece of OSB and then walk across the eaves as if you're just walking along the sidewalk. So much fun watching you work. Have you and Ashley every thought of doing an episode on how you came to know so much with all the work you've done on your house. I know you've always said, you've learned throughout the years, but your knowledge of roofing, tiling, wood working, insulation, electric, plumbing and so much more. I understand you want privacy and your personal lives you want to keep private, I'd love you know your background.
