Wow! I've seen her representing a lot of charities, but I had no idea it rose to that level. Even with such talent, that's still a lot of hard work and dedication. Her heart matches her voice. I haven't even recovered from the dumbfounding when I first heard her, years ago, and she keeps pounding me with stuff like this. At this rate, I'll never get back to my pre-Angelina self. Not that I want to, mind you, so it's all good.

"To sing is like breathing to me" is what she said in an interview when she was I think 10 years old, and that's exactly what she does, she breaths new life in to these old classics. It really shows in this video, especially that smile at the end, how much she enjoys it - and we get just as happy as she does, from hearing her beautiful voice and fantastic renditions.

Angelina always did this song so well. She is able to put that old style onto it, and it fits so perfectly. I don't know of any examples of her singing this song past about 9 yrs old, but I would love to hear what she could do with it now.

The rehearsals of this song are superb, and show Angelina at her most natural, thus her vocal is beautifully relaxed. Fidgeting, rubbing her nose and fidgeting again, and all the while rolling beautifully sung words from her mouth like she was having the time of her Life.

Btw this show is one of those beneficiary, charity, and concert for a cause that she loves to be with. Again she made it her own and it was so good and she's only 8 here. What are we doing when we're 8? Angelina is already making her own music at the very young age. And that is life for her. She doesn't sing to provide for her family, there's no pressure on her. She sings because she loves it and she's so passionate bout her craft.

She has a big sound. Her tone is very fat. So you can choose . It varies by musicsl genre. Regarding the word harmony. The basic definition is the technical expression of music along with the word time. In music there is harmony and time/rhythm. So harmony is about which notes are being used. The lay/colloquial use of the word harmony is how well things work together and can have much broader usage. Thanks for loving Angelina Jordan. The greatest singer ever to walk planet earth imo

And I think this classic song was also performed by Beyonce, at President Obama's inauguration, in 2009. Where she also paid a tribute to Etta James.

We thought Justin Bieber was good whe he was a kid. Angelina can be one of the greatest artist if she have the right pepole around her in the future. If she works with producers who find her sound and style as grown up, then we as audience have some good music coming your way. @@Dak108 Well, it really is. She gave away to charity the money she won in NGT, she only appears at non-profit ventures and has made very little money on it, much less than her expenses. So, it remains a hobby until she decides to make it a career. I think she has now made that decision. Her forthcoming new album of all original songs on her label should fit that bill.😊

Thank you, Wolf Rock, for doing this! What I like about her performance is ,first, that she accepted to sing for that charity event. Then, her vibratos and melismas. They form the basis of one of her vocal technique and are very well showcased in this short song. Notice how humble she is once she s done. Her heartfelt kindness is, maybe, the essence of who she is as a beautiful singer. How does she transports emotions? Through these two qualities of her heart and soul: humility and kindness.

There is a certain quality to Angelina´s voice that simply sets it apart from the rest. It makes her distinguisable. And it was already present here when she was younger. That light distortion. And that agility. She was already able to use dynamics quite effectively. :-) But she certainly worked on it over the years and it paid out.
