At least 100 killed in crush at India religious event | BBC News

More than 100 people have been killed in a crush at a religious gathering in northern India, officials have said.
The incident took place at a satsang (a Hindu religious event) in Hathras district in Uttar Pradesh state.
The victims, including a large number of women and some children, are still being identified.
Survivors have described how the disaster unfolded as they tried to leave the event in Mughalgarhi village.
A spokesperson for a senior police officer in Uttar Pradesh told the BBC it would "take hours to release the final tally", but confirmed at least 100 dead.

Unprofessional people at the helm of affairs i.e. crowd management.First there should have been many specific entry and exit gates,cctv cameras be installed onsite ambulances,doctors,water,etc should have been put in place.These events should have multiple day event not single day event day.Specific number.of passes be issued for particular day.No personal meeting touching feet of babas be allowed.Why courts are taking no suo cognisance on homicide and why not specific guidelines be issued on such gatherings?. Why not organisers are taught "crowd management"curriculum?.
