Jackson State had more Bullets in the Chamber. They better be glad Cam'ron Mccoy went down early or it's 60 on their Defense. They were spared in this Game 🐅 Go Tigers

SU is SUspect. They could not run, and had problems stopping JSU from running. Those Running Backs #Triple3 are going to be a problem for the rest of the SWAC.

JSU DBs are the weakest link. We need to fix that asap. Also Jacobian needs to work on his pass beyond 15 yards. Those were the biggest red flags. Gambling will be good practice to get ready for txsu

Was out position they clean it up as season go on
@allblack8148Ай бұрын
Man, txsu is not it either. If JSU play to their potential, they will run through the SWAC and the only resistance they have is from Damned U.
@kentrelt5140Ай бұрын
@@allblack8148 I hear u but if the opposing team stops the run, then what? Jacobian isn't the greatest with passe. Alot of his passes missed the mark and he doesn't use his legs. Mccoy is better at using his legs but not good at passing. Also our DBs/secondary is the weakest link. When su backup QB had time 2 pass, he kilt us. Those are areas we need to improve.
@kentrelt5140Ай бұрын
@@quentingilmore7896 I hope so because it kept SU in the game when the front 7 didn't put pressure on the QB.

Great win, but even though we spanked SU and are 2-1, the tigers are a major disappointment waiting to happen. The play calling is still vanilla. Other than throwing jump balls to Joanes Fortilien, and a go route down the sideline that's never open, the deep passing game is nonexistent. When a decent team stacks the box on us, we will be in major trouble. We simply don't have a legitimate passing QB. I'm seeing the all too familiar dink and dunk scheme. There is definitely a route running deficiency among the receivers which is a product of coaching. Not only that, but I will never understand why your *"165 lb,"* 4.3 burner is taking handoffs up the middle instead of running jet sweeps, quick pitches or being used in the passing game. The defense still can't tackle in space, and the secondary is atrocious. Kudos to the o-line and RB room, but it looks like the tigers have been overhyped again by the so-called Insiders. I don't think we'll be returning to the WC Gordon era anytime soon, but I guess we can still dream, my friend. †

No one showed up for SU: football team, band, or fans. Such an overall disappointment for the self-proclaimed powerhouse. The team outclassed SU in every aspect of the game. It should have been a much bigger blow out. We had way too many missed opportunities on offense, and the defense should made a few more stops. We could have put a little more pressure on the QBs and contained them more. We can still get a little more out of the passing game, but all we can do is just improve from week to week. We have to stop waiting free plays though we did get a big play on one

People always talking y’all not on the field ..Tc it start with your offense , how you expect for your Quarterback Morgan to deliver the ball when the defensive line coming straight at him … smh

They could have done a little better passing
@Mr..GАй бұрын
After 3 weeks of college football, it pains me to say it, but the SWAC might be the most anemic conference in FCS. FAMU is the front runner, but that's only by default and not by much. They can't stop a cold with that front seven and are weak in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Whoever picked Alcorn to win the West should repent immediately, and likewise for Bama State in the East. The SWAC teams are only competitive when playing each other. Not a single one of them would pose a threat as a member of any other conferences let alone win one. I can't imagine a SWAC team lining up against one of the FCS big boys- South Dakota state, Montana State or North Dakota State. Great win, but even though JSU is 2-1, they are a major disappointment waiting to happen. The play calling is still vanilla and they are one dimensional. A decent team that stacks the box will present a major problem. Other than throwing jump balls to Joanes Fortilien, and a go route down the sideline that's never open, the deep passing game is nonexistent. We don't have a legitimate passing QB. I'm seeing the all too familiar dink and dunk scheme. There is definitely a route running deficiency among the receivers which is a product of coaching. You always complain. What HBCU is anywhere close to SDSU, NDSU, or Montana. The JSU offense and passing game is coming along. You talk like you want them to look like the Chiefs or 49ers a few weeks in with a change at OC and two QBs who only have a handful of games played for the team. Really it's a change at both coordinator positions. The team was never overhyped last season. The teams own mistakes cost them 2 games last year.

A Swac team couldn’t line up and play against those teams when WC was coaching either. I’ll take the win and work on the deficiencies.
@Mr..GАй бұрын
@@MiracleSportsPodcast You get no arguments from me although JSU actually played some of the teams close back then. They were 0-12 in the playoffs though. I'm sure that when the Insiders refer to the WC Gordon era, they mean dominating the SWAC not other conferences, my friend. †
