I was at opening day last week and made my usual bear mountain coffee roasters stop and bought my usual 3 bags of Joe. I was looking for the cards of watch batteries of various sizes only saw a couple of packs but all one type. I looked at the antique section to buy old clocks to clean up and get working but I saw a couple of vendors selling new stock at retail prices. I saw one old Pam clock the guy wanted 150$ for it and it wasn’t in good shape, I hate when vendors think they have gold. I haven’t gotten a good deal in a few years. I’ll continue going though. I actually walked the entire sale pushing my wife in a wheelchair.
@fleabittenadventures6 ай бұрын
Yes, some of the vendors here are expensive, but I was able to find a few good deals. I usually find better deals at the small flea markets where most of the sellers are not actual dealers. Thanks for watching!

@@fleabittenadventures waiting for your next video, on the outside chance of seeing me and my wife meandering through the entire market. I noticed that there was a group of Chinese vendors selling phone cases and plugs, they have been visibly absent for a couple of years. Was a nice day, no wind, not hot cold or rainy.

You were right about the Batman & Robin salt & pepper shakers being modern. Although the blue color of Batman's cowl would indicate an earlier year as Batman was predominately blue for much of his existence, the more recent incarnations have him in Black. I might have gotten fooled into thinking that was something from the late 80's/early 90's, but I remembered recently seeing those in package recently and it had the newer DC logo on the box. I checked eBay and I've only seen two and they were being sold at 24.99 & 30.00. The Lakeside Amazing Spider-Man/Incredible Hulk Drawing desk is a piece I've been looking for for my vintage superhero toy collection. That's from 1979. I have seen those go from 25.00 all the way to 300 for mint examples. I would have asked how much the guy wanted but I would be comfortable paying in the 40-50.00 range for that particular piece as the box looked like it was in good shape.
@fleabittenadventures6 ай бұрын
Thanks for the info! I'll ask about the Lakeside Drawing desk next time, if it's still there. I have a feeling that it's not going to be $40 or $50 though. Thanks for watching.

Those ninja turtle figures are some good ones especially with the cases. That $275 was a decent deal. If you got down to like 250 to 225 it would be well worth it. Without weapons those figures are about $15 each

It's almost certainly fishing lures viewers were saying they were hoping to see. For me at the 28:00 mark you again walked right by a thing I and/or my 87 year old friend will pay you for (so you make a profit and for some make and models, a profit which likely covers your trip). I won't write what it is because I don't want to bring others eyes onto them.

All those games are going to just be worthless in years to come there's no sense in trying to collect them because kids today don't want anything to do with that stuff they all want Electronics is the older generation dies off that collects those things they're just going to turn into very light paperweights, antique furniture is going down the same path younger Generations don't want anything to do with the stuff.
