$1,500.00 is a lot. Their regular AKs are ~$1,000.00 and that's already high. This isn't $500 different from those from a production/parts/manufacturing point of view.

I am sick of people complaining about AK ammo. Everything in the world is more expensive now. The dollar is garbage and you think it’s an AK problem. Just go online and buy it for $.45. It sounds like we have a lot of slow people that go to their neighborhood retailer and pay $.80 around and then come online and complain about it. Just try doing some research and don’t complain about the AK when it’s literally $.20-.25c higher than it was in the good old days.

The part that really sucks is the Russian ammo ban. Now all I mostly see is brass Norma and personally it has terrible accuracy. I do really like the Teleammo and it is very accurate and a hot round too. I don't understand why, but all of the brass 7.62x39 isn't as accurate as the steel cased which i can get between 2-3 moa fairly easily.

I love the gun. I’ve been wanting one ever since Zastava announced they were bringing them in. I do have one question though; is the furniture proprietary, or does it take all standard M70 furniture…including the handguard? I ask because the handguard on the M72 looks a little shorter to my eyes than the M70 handguard.

The stock and grip are standard M70, the handguard is proprietary.

@@TGS940these look a bit nicer , fit and finish wise , and the heat sink barrel is cool, but my AES10b is a good RPK and runs great ( it was also very straight out of the box) . this is actually a bit cheaper I think . If I didn’t have an RPK I might give this a look. Cont go wrong with either , I don’t think.

I am disappointed in the bipod, buttstock, and pistol grip. I know it can’t be F/A but I’d like it to look like the original gun. I may have to go buy a kit build instead.

That bipod is the original military type, and an original polymer pistol grip is around $15. They kinda dropped the ball on the buttstock though.

Never seen a Zastava bipod that mounts like that. I have the correct pistol grip and furniture… I just don’t want to pay 1500$ and then still have to modify the gun to make it look right.
