what type of amplifier would i need to use headphones on a turntable that doesn't have one built in

Hi there! You may use any headphones amplifier that will allow for a LINE Level audio input from the turntable. The headphone amplifier should be properly matched to whichever headphones you are using. Hi there! There is no setup needed for the tonearm on the AT-LP60x series of turntables. As the cartridge is permanently attached, the tracking force and anti-skate settings are pre-configured and not user adjustable. Thanks! - A-T USA

I had the same problem. I even adjusted the speed underneath the turntable. I couldn't get it to play properly. I am returning it.
