Hum or static? Hum while sitting and static moving albums? I have Onkyo and I love LOUD. 4 speakers are in (18" wolfers etc...) but I have that horrible ground hum and have adjusted everything... no help on 35 year old Technics. I listen, the neighbors do too type of thing.

Hi, the turntable sound by it self or only by an stereo system?
@sparkytdg3 жыл бұрын
@@alejandrocardenas6668 I have it running with an Onkyo tuner. However, I was running a 30 -35 year old Technics BD 20 that was considered pretty good in its' time. I developed a humm and didn't want to track down grounds. I plugged this LP60X in its place and now my stereo is twice as loud, twice as clear and sounds incredible.
@trouble50852 жыл бұрын
A couple things: You don't take that red ribbon off before installing the platter. It's actually for installing the rubber belt instead of using your fingers. AND the dust cover comes off easily because most audiophiles do not use it during operation. $129 across all retail outlets these days. The great thing about this turntable is that it is fully automatic, meaning you hit the button and it puts the needle on the record and removes/retracts it at the end of the side. The thing I hate about this turntable is that it's impossible to adjust the anti-skating and tone-arm weight yourself. Whatever the factory settings are, that's what you're stuck with. It's made for folks who really don't want to be bothered with all that.

Hi, I really enjoyed your review on the AT PL 60X. I actually bought this turntable just under 3 weeks ago. I went on KZbin and searched for reviews on this turntable and I clicked on your channel. I liked your review of the AT LP 60 X. I've been a bigtime fan of vinyl records since I was around 11, 12 years old. I'm going to be 58 next month in November, so I'm not new to vinyl records. I bought the AT LP 60X turntable because of the low price. I really like the turntable. Yes, I do know that you can spend more money for a turntable, but I didn't want to. I bought one last night as I have a small personal collection of albums on vinyl and my mom has probably thousands of dollars worth of record that were left with her a long time ago, all the records were owned by a DJ so I have an insane collection at my disposal I’ve been sitting on for a while now. Decided to buy an actual quality record player instead of the garbage $40 one I had (which I never even used). Paired with an old pair of bose computer sound system (sub woofer + two speakers) and its like im hearing some of these records for the first time again. I think as long as you have a decent pair of speakers at your disposal or even a good pair of headphones you will throughly enjoy this record player!

This seemed decent quality, great value for the money… and I may still get it… but you mentioned the lack of a tone arm clasp and so now I’m leaning the other way. Silly reason I know, but what can I say, it bugs me lol

All I did was use the tie twist to secure it after each use. Then when the tie twist is wore out then just use another one. You can buy a reel of them & they will last a good long while. It says on the pdf manual that I downloaded that the power supply requirements is ranging from 110-240V 50/60Hz, the AC adapter 12v. When I was looking for a turntable at our local stores that sell used/older ones, most of them only supports 110v. Here in our country, 220v is more common and standard power outlets in our homes. Do I still need to buy a transformer to convert the power to 110v? Or the turntable and the AC adapter it comes with can already handle both 110v and 220v? Thank you!

@Swiatlocien4 жыл бұрын
1. What do you mean "how is important"? You plug it to the socket and then it works. If you're asking about the power then the turntable itself (without speakers) eats 3 Watts from your electricity bill. 2. The cartridge is fixed but you can change the stylus/needle so it isn't that much of a problem.

(nonetheless, 4 grams is better than undertracking, people are buying the OEM combo of the atn3600l cartrige and tracking 1,5 grams like the ad's are wrongly saying, this will damaged all records)

Thinking of getting one of these. Only got a cheap GPO turntable which just skips too much to be true. I'm buying a lot of vinyl on eBay and have come to the conclusion the GPO one is just a poor record player. Would rather spend more money on something better. Do people generally rate this for the money? Looking at spending up to £150

Hi I’m BRAND new to turntables and very in the dark! Loved your review - thank you for that! I have a bose speaker with Bluetooth connection etc - if I were to buy the Lp60xBT Bluetooth turn table would the sound come through the bose ok? What would be the difference between just playing the same song through the bose speaker from my phone? Hopefully you know the answer Thanks 😊

Can you use headphones with it? Thanks
@TheTechne5 жыл бұрын
yes just make sure your headphones have a built in amp or external. It just doesn't get very loud with out one.
