At Sea Day in Alaska! Royal Princess Cruise!

Our first at-sea day on the Royal Princess gave us the opportunity to relax, explore the ship a little more, and take in some of the events and activities that were offered. Today was a great example of why we like cruising, Sherri had time to rest and relax, and I had plenty of activities to keep me busy and entertained! We had very different days, but both were just what we needed!

I do agree i have sailed to Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico and California Coastal’s and the only time i have ever felt sea sick was the Alaska cruise! The Long Island iced teas might not have helped anything!

That sauce is good on Strawberries too. That buffet looked wonderful That ship is beautiful These lectures would be something I would love to hear If you ask the pit boss, sometimes they have classes on how to play certain games or Check the TV, You are convincing me that I need a Princess Cruise

Loved the vid. I'm doing my first cruise, a 10 day Alaska in July, and seeing the "mundane" parts is what I am looking for here so I know what to expect. Considering I am a night owl, it looks like I'll have the ship to myself most of the time. lol (BTW, I'll be on the Ruby Princess.) The ship also looked rather casual for formal night, which is fine with me.

Saw all the jackets & coats ....oh my! So wanted to be there (it's 98° outside here today!) Trivia, food carvings, naturalist presentations = all our favorites. Looked like Sabatini's was tasty. Will watch to see what your results video shows. (We've only eaten at Sabatini's once but the Crown Grill is a MUST every Princess cruise!) So sorry Sherry was under the weather for this evening.

The Princess one I was on at the theater (the first) movie they give you cookies and milk. But idk because the milk made my stomach hurt so I never got it after. Idk if the milk was kept at room temp or what but I wasn't happy that night. But thank you for showing us some of the vents during the night. I'm never up that late haha.

Hello from Australia! love you guys! we head out on board the Majestic Princess departing Vancouver on the 13th August then spending a further couple of weeks exploring Alaska, can't wait! It's our first trip to your beautiful state. I'm glad you have addressed the issue of sea sickness, it's the only thing I am apprehensive about the cruise. Can I ask what medication Sherri was given? I too get motion sickness but didn't want to miss out on experiencing the inside passage by boat. We would have loved a state room with a balcony but was suggested and inside room in the middle of the boat to hopefully combat some of that motion but I'm now thinking I want to upgrade the room haha

My doctor prescribed Scopolamine for my seasickness, and it’s been amazing! It makes me drowsy, which is a drawback, but I’m so glad to not be sick!

My wife & I are sailing on the Royal in June 2023 from Seattle! This will be our First Ever Cruise! Did it take you 15+ hrs to sail from Seattle to Juneau?

Question, you mentioned some sea sickness issues, compared to other cruises, can you tell me, say on a scale of 1 - 10 1= completely still and 10= crazy back and forth and up and down lol I am fairly susceptible to motion sickness, so this is something thatr has me a little concerned
